Late 90's - early 2000's adult contemporary will be forever etched into my soul... I listen to mostly metal and hard rock but I'm not ashamed to say that I love most pop music from that era. It just hits different in a way I can't explain.

When I was leaving my mom's for the last time before she passed from cancer this son was playing on the local radio station. It made me think of my mom and dad. Even though they were divorced they always said better friends than lovers. RIP Mom, thanks for all you taught me about love and how loving another feels!

What makes the memory of this sweeter for me is that I unexpectedly met my husband in Yokosuka Japan less
than 2 years later after I first heard this song and multiple parts of this song remind me of my amazing husband in multiple happy ways.
