love the close up of the sealer sinking into the grout
Great video bud!!!! Always a nice way to start the weekend!👌
Thanks Rushill🔥
I did not know about this, great tip!
Great tips! What about the sealer that you can mix in with the grout when installing? Any thoughts on that?
I’m really starting to question your commitment to these videos…
just laying around the whole time!😂
Lol it certainly didn’t help with the energy level of the video😂
Do you use the sealer that comes in those bottles with the brush tip or do you refill them with the better more expensive stuff you recommend in your previous video?
We have penny tile on our shower floor. To seal the grout i think I’ll get the sealant all over it. Is it okay to wipe on the sealant and then just take a dry rag and wipe the whole shower floor? Any other tricks for penny tile grout?
Would love a video tutorial on refinishing a tub/shower on a budget!
Can I use this miracle sealant on shower grout as well? Will it help with the pink hard water mold?
You look so confortable. Lol. Great videos 👍🏽
how often should you seal your grout? I know the answer is probably, when it needs it. But in your professional opinion do you think that's every year?
Do I need sealer with power grout?
What is the name of the sealant that you’re using
Perfect timing! My Bissell Hot Shot has arrived so I've got a date with the bathroom floor. LOL. This video sealed the deal (pun intended...sorry, not sorry).
That’s great, I hope everything goes smoothly! Thanks for all the support:)
@@TheFunnyCarpenter Do you use the sealer that comes in those bottles with the brush tip or do you refill them with the better more expensive stuff you recommend in your previous video?
@@raccoonplayground you buy empty applicator bottles as well. The stuff in the bottle that I was using seems like good stuff as well.
I know there is epoxy grout, but is there an epoxy sealer you can put over regular grout? In the shower, I find sealant only lasts about a year and then
you have to do all over again.
The sealer how many square feet ft would it seal? I have a 2200 square ft to do. 🥵 might take me 3 months to finish 😂 any places that have a better price then :$35 a bottle ?
Is there a second brand you recommend? Amazon appears to be sold out, homedepot claims it's discontinued, and my local lowes only has 2 bottles left ☹
I think most of the sealers will perform similarly. Thanks for checking out the vid
I have a question. Our shower stall has grout on the walls and floor. I have a terrible time keeping mold from forming on the grout. Scrubbing it will clear it up but within a few days it’s back again. I know nothing about grout. If I can clean the grout super good would sealing the grout stop some of this mold business? I just purchased an attachment for my drill that has a scrub brush. I hope it helps. Cause this is a large shower and a miles worth of grout 🤣
Drying your shower more quickly will help, too. Use a squeegee after every shower, all the way down to the drain. Then use a thick microfiber cloth to dry the corners and edges. Also, always use the fan. The best idea is to put your fan on timer switch. Add thirty minutes for each shower to help dry out the bath.
Would you recommend the Miracle sealant on vertical surfaces, ie shower grout
Yes
@@TheFunnyCarpenter Excellent, thanks!
how could you seal backsplash grout joints, Same product and method ?
I’m not entirely sure how that brush would work on wall tiles, let me get back to you. I’ll test it out.
Do I need/should seal my grout if it's hydrophobic grout?
No
@@TheFunnyCarpenter thanks. There is no need or it wrong thing to do?
$35 for 6 oz?! Holy hell. It better never need to be resealed or cleaned for that
Hi, you are doing a great job. I want to remove all indoor doors casing. Could you please make a video on- what kind of finishes/filling can appropriate at door frame and wall junction after removing casing so I can give modern look? It would a great help. ♥️
I would likely use some type of flat stock moulding.
@@TheFunnyCarpenter Lovely. Thank you so much for your response. 🤗
I understand sometimes grout needs to be re-sealed, but who in their right mind would use anything but epoxy grout today?
Most floor grouts are not epoxy in my experience.
Epoxy grout is a great marketing gimmick. 5-10 times the money. No benefit. Harder to clean and repair.
Dirt solution , what a phrase
😎🛠️😎🛠️😎
Cheers Ted🍻
too relaxed lying on the tiles !
What can I say? I'm learning stuff I never wanted to know.
Thanks buddy:) maximum appreciation for all the support!
@@TheFunnyCarpenter You're a good man and deserve max support. Keep on doing the good work; but, ease up on the cleaning videos.
@@themeat5053 😂😂😂I was hating myself so hard making that last video, but I had to finish off the loop there! Back to some regular type stuff!
