I met my husband online… talked/FaceTimed for a few weeks, finally met in person and we both knew very quickly we had met ‘The One’! He proposed 10 months later and we married 4 months after that. We met on a nerdy Myers-Briggs typology dating app, he flew out to visit me within 2 months, proposed 3 months later, I moved halfway across the country (from NJ to MO) the next month, and we were married a few months after that. You never hear white woman say this they understand the assignment and Gods way of nature..we women were not put on earth to do it alone..I see you are a nurse Trust me that RN work gets old after you turn 45..Other black nurses use to tell me the same thing “I’m happy by myself” Shoot the white nurses was trying to work PRN LOL while we slaving and saying we don’t need a man..I went back for my NP got married to a high value physician who treats me very well I did like those white nurses working as a Travel NP 6 months out of the year with Locums and thank God for sending me a loving caring man..im.not trying to change your mind but I’m so tired of black women feeling like we have to be strong and independent and constantly get beat down physically and mentally..We can have it all..Amazing careers with amazing husbands who provide protect and love the hell out of us!! I met my husband in October. We married in January. On our first date, he told me he loved me, I said nope, hold on wait a minute, how can u say that. He said do you believe in true love. I said only in fairy tales, now I'm living that life...I now say, when you pray about something and are detailed with God. He will give you all your hearts desires...Blessed for our long time marriage. My husband told me a man knows he wants to marry you no longer than 2 months, after that he is playing and stringing u along.
Men marry the wrong women all the time. 3 weeks or 2 months is way too soon. They're marrying an illusion, a fantasy of what they think love is or a specific role their hoping the other person will fulfill. Wanting to get married and actually having the healthy and proper skills for it are two different things. Moving in and marrying someone too soon tells me self discipline and patience are not their nor your strengths.

God is able you have to try, faith without works is dead. 👶 🍼 get hormones check get some progesterone and estrogen natural creams. Trust Me at 45 you will feel like a brand new woman.
It may be delayed, but never denied. This is happening for more women these days. Ladies, don't let anyone tell you that your life is over after 30 if you're not married with kids. as you get older, you get to know & understand yourself more and life gets better. We live longer and can have kids at 40+ become your daughter's maid of honour. Many women live well into their 80s and 90s and beyond. Life is good :-)

Sis!! First stop!! In a loving voice, repel the desperation. It will not attract what you seek. I can say this because quietly I have been where you are. Now...adjust your crown and make a list of what you seek, be very specific and do this ..put it away. Next, find those things that give you that joy and bask in all of the blessings you have around you. Seek new hobbies and begin renewing you. What will happen is that you will channel positivity around you and you will not walk with that tinge of desperation but confidence and without you doing anything...God will send the godly man for you. It may take time but we have to do the work. Do not accept less than in your meantime either. Whatever happened in your divorce IS the past...now forge YOUR future🙏🏽 You are worthy and invaluable and whatever happened in your marriage will not negatively define the course of your future. That's the main thing for me, about them. Although the 3 weeks moving in is a bit of an eyebrow raising thing. They had known each other for some time, I watch her talk show, she and her husband have similar values. I mean where do you find a 49 year old guy who doesn't have kids and has never been married. Has a good career, is not a womanizer, wants to marry you and have your babies.

I tell persons all the time it has nothing to do with how long you know someone and have been around the person. It has to do with if your spirits and values both align. There is the rest of your life to learn and find out everything else. Persons are so busy wasting time doing background checks and investigative work while missing out on the most important things. People can be so crazy.
And this is also why it’s important as black women to date out. It gives you the ability to compare your experiences with black men and men of other groups. You may even find your life partner. Create options for yourself by not limiting your spouse based on being brown, ladies.

And we have been conditioned to be with black men. Who statistically are not conditioned to be good partners, husbands, or fathers. You get the chance to compare and contrast when you date out. And you start to see that we have a form of Stockholm Syndrome with black men. They are getting on Beyoncés internet and showing us they don’t love and value us. They are showing us by not marrying us but baby mama-ing us. They haven’t built anything for us as a group of people, and they are conquered by every other male on the planet. My femininity comes first, now. Not my skin complexion. Tamron didn’t find him until her late forties/early fifties. She’s beautiful. Accomplished. Yet, she couldn’t find a “good black man”?? I met my husband in October. We married in January. On our first date, he told me he loved me, I said nope, hold on wait a minute, how can u say that. He said do you believe in true love. I said only in fairy tales, now I'm living that life...I now say, when you pray about something and are detailed with God. He will give you all your hearts desires...Blessed for our long time marriage. My husband told me a man knows he wants to marry you no longer than 2 months, after that he is playing and stringing u along.
Men marry the wrong women all the time. 3 weeks or 2 months is way too soon. They're marrying an illusion, a fantasy of what they think love is or a specific role their hoping the other person will fulfill. Wanting to get married and actually having the healthy and proper skills for it are two different things. Moving in and marrying someone too soon tells me self discipline and patience are not their nor your strengths.

Ladies, don't let anyone tell you that your life is over after 30 if you're not married with kids. as you get older, you get to know & understand yourself more and life gets better. We live longer and can have kids at 40+ become your daughter's maid of honour. Many women live well into their 80s and 90s and beyond. Life is good :-)

Now...adjust your crown and make a list of what you seek, be very specific and do this ..put it away. I tell persons all the time it has nothing to do with how long you know someone and have been around the person. It has to do with if your spirits and values both align. There is the rest of your life to learn and find out everything else. Persons are so busy wasting time doing background checks and investigative work while missing out on the most important things. People can be so crazy.

And this is also why it’s important as black women to date out. It gives you the ability to compare your experiences with black men and men of other groups. You may even find your life partner. Create options for yourself by not limiting your spouse based on being brown, ladies.
I definitely noticed a difference dating Hispanic guys vs black guys.
@@sophisticatedmm3632 A part of the reason a lot of us are single as women in the black community or sharing a man, is because we don’t think we have options with other men. And we have been conditioned to be with black men. Who statistically are not conditioned to be good partners, husbands, or fathers.
You get the chance to compare and contrast when you date out. And you start to see that we have a form of Stockholm Syndrome with black men. They are getting on Beyoncés internet and showing us they don’t love and value us. They are showing us by not marrying us but baby mama-ing us. They haven’t built anything for us as a group of people, and they are conquered by every other male on the planet.
My femininity comes first, now. Not my skin complexion. Tamron didn’t find him until her late forties/early fifties. She’s beautiful. Accomplished. Yet, she couldn’t find a “good black man”??
I’m happy for women who decide to open their options because the odds are more in their favor of finding what they want in a partner.
