My favoriate version of my favorite opera!! Buy the Glydebourne version of Cossi immediately! What a wonderful production, Anke Vondung is so great!
I have a question. What language is opera if it even is, Italian? If so I still think it's hard to comprehend, even if it's more than moaning vocals it must be out of date a little lyrical wise
not sure about the entire aria (though dramatically she's spot on) but that "cosi" at 2:45 was simply exquisite.

This is a wonderful aria. Absolutely first rate Mozart. Unfortunately it was often cut in 19th century productions since it was felt to be morally questionable. It has only been recently restored in most, though not all, productions.
