Roundabout (Yes) - Acoustic Guitar Instrumental
Вставка

- Solo version of ROUNDABOUT. Trying to get all of the instruments represented on one guitar (especially Chris Squire's standout bass part that made this such a classic!).
This man is playing bass, vocals, lead riffs, acoustic guitar, and nylon guitar parts...
On a classical guitar.
typical in musical school =)
Fingerstyle
I'm late but check out Tommy Emmanuel's ted talk.
His stand help him
it can't get much more epic can't it
Anybody who criticizes this rendition... try it yourself. He's playing both guitar parts plus the bass part that was so incorporated into them. OUTSTANDING MAN!!
I would've liked your comment but it's at 69 likes so...

Percussion as well... at times.
he's playing both the guitar and the bass parts holy crap
KermitTheFrogman AND the vocals...
ikr wow
ya ok this guy is God
And percussion! 😀
It's fingerstyle
Vocal,Lead Guitar,Bass and rhythm all on one guitar.... impressive
This is the best rendition I've ever heard. Unless you are a guitarist, one can't appreciate how difficult the task at hand. Just holding your hands in a fixed position for 8+ minutes is a challenge. Thanks for sharing your refined talent and superb material selection.
-How many instruments can you play?
*-Yes.*
Here is my former guitar teacher that performing "Roundabout" by Yes in its entirety that was posted on UA-cam 5 years ago. This persons name is David Schaub, now living in LA. Several years ago, he used to have a job position as a supervisor at Sony's Animation Department which helped on the movie, "Alice In Wonderland".
I had David as a guitar teacher for almost 2 years during 1978-1980 here in Luxembourg. He is a very talented guitarist as you will see on this video. I am very interested on what devices he used to record this from
wow 1978-80. That's like 40 years ago!
Plot Twist: It was Hamon training
Damn
Animato Yes a long time ... unfortunately the years keep on marching
Legend
huh, i was wondering why this sounded odd, but then i realized he was literally doing everything...
You just saved me years of work. The world thanks you Dave!

Oh god another master is here 😁 greetings sir,
Until I saw and heard this presentation, I would not have thought one person with one guitar could do such a brilliant interpretation of this classic song. Such a frightening amount of talent here has me almost frozen with awe. Amazing ! ! !
That is simply incredible, I can only imagine how many hour of practice to sound that good, and from a YES fan from the 70's, that is absolutely spot on! Thank you for sharing it with us
The best Yes cover in all of UA-cam. Period. I'm in awe.

I can see how he sends ripples to the guitar strings. He already have mastered the art of classical mystics.
He is doing the whole band, omg. He is Bass, Guitar, Drums, Keyboard and Voice in one classical guitar.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT! best roundabout guitar cover i've ever heard so far!!! congrats!
That’s amazing. Prolly took your whole life to master that
Who has the audacity to give this a thumbs down ? Certainly not a musician that has any abilities and I noticed no one had the fortitude to remark about this negatively, just a thumbs down. Cowards too.
This guy has done an incredible job !
Bravo !!
This is simply beautiful. The intro and outro of this song always gives me goosebumps. It has a medival/renaissance vibe. Great job. Peace and love.🎶🎶🎶
He's an angel.
Wow. This is the coolest rendition of roundabout I've ever hear-
---------- *_T O B E C O N T I N U E D_* ------->
The whole song with just ONE guitar, that's sick
12 years I saw just the first few minutes of it the introduction all these years later the complete video turns up amazing 👏
This was so brilliant it made me laugh at times.
This arrangement is amazing, maybe one of the most difficult things i’ve seen played in years. Compliments. :O
I don't normally comment on youtube but I had to for this one. This was pretty awesome. Thank you for your rendition of this song. Keep it up.
How many brains & hands will need for play this. From Argentine, I believe that you are the best brother of Steve Howe. Ohhhh myyy God.
Dooooooooood. Like I'm already blown away. But when he started the rhythm patting the guitar while STILL playing notes on the fret with one hand...my mind was freaking blown. This guy is amazing!
This entire performance needs more attention and props than it is getting, amazing work
why nobody is saying that he is also playing the Keyboard parts? this is insane!!
Beautiful! Best version of Roundabout I ever heard!
This is how to take a guitar beyond its limits. Well done sir.
Who the hell is this guy??
AmAzInG !!!
Most likely a stand user
David schaub.
the comments on youtube never cease to amaze me. This is hands down the most amazing version of this song on youtube. Simply sublime version. I take my hat off to you from afar !
I don’t play guitar but I love watching people who do and appreciate performances that look difficult. This might be the most difficult thing I’ve ever seen played on a guitar!
He even included the bass line
Just amazing, one of my favourite songs played immaculately by a very talented guy. FANTASTIC!
AWESOME!
A wonderful song played an amazing way!
Uma música maravilhosa tocada de uma forma incrível.
Greetings from Brazil!

I have never seen better guitar playing, period!
Excellent! Respect! My kingdom for the TABS!
That was exceptional! You did a wonderful interpretation! Thanks for the inspiration as I was going back to find a lesson to an old song from my early days and I found this!
Like another commentator below, I don't sign in often, but in this case I just had to tell you: "Bravo". Just a great rendition.
Just amazing. A great band, great song, but in your hands became a master piece.Bravo!!!!!!!!
stupendous sir I'm a big fan of the band
I'm baffled by the fact that this video only has 1,500+ views... doesn't make sense to me... This is simply amazing. Nothing else to be said really.
Who are the 119 people that put a thumbs down? Unbelievable! This is Great!
A superb realisation of this classic. Congratulations!
This makes me want to dedicate my life to guitar. Now that I’ve seen it is possible I want to do this kind of stuff!!
VERY VERY NICE....

$% you for making that look easy! You are brilliant!
I was hoping and almost kinda expecting him to play out the whole keyboard solo but I'm still not disappointed!
You are a virtuoso, and then some. I've never heard anything like this. Brilliant!
you, sir, are absolutely spectacular! i was totally stoked that i figured out the intro and then i was thinking about arranging an acoustic version, but, holy crap, there's no way i can do anything half as amazing as that.
Best guitar version I have every seen! This guy is a superb talent, awesome only few people I seen on UA-cam can do this! Awesome!
Unbelivable, the best version i ever heard from this song. Pleas more of this! Its great!
man this is godly ,I can imagine the pain you went through by arranging this into one piece
Done so well and so complete.
The sheer amount of skill needed to even consider attempting this is mind boggling.
My hats off you sir... Very good!!!
I have been playing for close to 50 years and cannot approach the grace with which you play the guitar. Ignore the jealous "over-orchestrated" comments, you are an astonishing player and an even more impressive musician. Outstanding!!! Thank you for posting it.
A video made 9 years ago is still *being continue to watch*

Espectacular!!!! no pude dejar de mirar el video. Un clásico del rock sinfónico de los 70 tocado con maestría. Mis felicitaciones al intérprete.
Dude absolutely stellar job
This was a recommended video by UA-cam. I thought I would check out a few seconds of and then bail. I watched it twice! I'm a subscriber now.
Amazing work of art!
God just the chops to pull this off is alr nuts not even considering the time it took the make the arrangement 💀👏👏👏
that's incredible!! such inspirational...
Outstanding work!!
Omg! This arrange is amazing! And also the interpretation! Congrats
Officer Healy?

Wow.. Can't unsee.
He's got the eyebrows and everything...
Exactly what I was thinking lmao
@@ferasusmani9846 me too! lol
How can someone be so skillful?
Great transcription, great tone - you've just gotta love these old prog classics, much more enjoyable than modern classical guitar compositions. Keep up the good work.
I have just witnessed greatness from the Master.
not only can the guy make some kickass CGI moves but he can kill them cords!
Remarquablement Génial ! Grand boulot! Bravo.
Well my friend you surely captured the very essence of that great tune & then some.
Great job, I enjoyed watching your performance very much!!!
EPIC. As a classical guy, I TOTALLY salute you.
really very good, you've managed to keep the feel of the piece throughout. A sterling effort of which you can be justy proud of.
I didn't know Carlo Ancelotti played guitar 😍
This guy has damn amazing talent!!!
My MAN!? Thanks for your fortitude in putting together this rendition!? You have grasped the group arrangement in total! I have been recently thinking of the nuances between Howe and Squire and here you are adding the Alan White drum rhythms while fermetnting the lead vocal melodies??? WHY you have only less than 7000 hits ....a great mystery to me?
Bass and guitar together... Wow... Awesome!
AMAZING, CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Wow! Literally took my breath away! Outstanding!
Kind of reminds me of how Steve has done a solo version of To Be Over in some of his solo tours and once at a YES concert. I get to see Roundabout twice this year. Next month with YES and September with YES-ARW.
Wow man. Thank you so much for this
Beautiful !
nice to hear :-)
very interesting way to put it all together
and with all the different rythms - respect!
Awesome version!
The right hand on its own it amazing
Exceptional. I had to hear it and see it again!
Thank you for sharing, fantastic
Man do I ha A LOT of practicing to do in order to get to this level. I knew there were harmonics which needed to be made using just one hand. This is just one of many things I must learn.
Terrific job man - Timing seemed fine to me!
Bravo!! Absolutely beautiful.
FANTASTIC !
soooo beautiful
