Ask God for continual Godly wisdom, Not just wisdom per se, as such can't really help you compared to God's wisdom. One thing that supercedes even Godly wisdom is Obedience to God, like Jesus was towards His Father at all times. The Word says, "obedience is Better than sacrifice." Solomon had a lot of wisdom, but he Really Needed the gift of obedience, because in the end he disobeyed God and gave his heart (allegiance) to other gods and wound up in hell. So all the wisdom he had really didn't wind up helping him in the end. Sad, but true. I'm one of his many offspring. Traced my Jewish genealogy and am from the tribe of Judah. 😊
Another great scripture is Proverrbs 13:22 "A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children . . ." Have to be a wise steward to your money and resources to have enough to leave to the next generations.

I can totally relate to this. I was not a good steward of my money and lost a lot. It threw me into bad depression. I am trying to claw out. I was not putting GOD first with money. Keep me in prayer please for consistency and getting back to a more stable financial situation. No doubt I have learned a massive lesson. Amen.

I had a former pastor that got in trouble with church money, when I decided to go back to God years later, I did my own study on on money and God and sincere prayer. This is where I ended up..Jesus told the rich young ruler to sell all he had and follow him. Jesus also says "Give and it shall be given, pressed down shaken together..." So, is Jesus talking out of both sides of his mouth? I was let to Proverbs 30:8-9..."Neither give me poverty nor riches". This verse screams "Balance" to me. Stewardship is key. Make sure things don't own you. Keep the main thing the main thing, live and share the gospel. God Bless.

I would have to say my favorite verse about money is "Give to Cesar, what is Cesar's and give to God what is Gods" - Mark 12:17 I know that the verse is not specifically about money but it always spoke to me personally that the construct of money is a tool and its not mine. I am just blessed with whatever God has bestowed on me to steward with. I also keep it on a poser board around tax time. :)
Giving away to the poor changes your heart. I give out of abundance, every month I have more than I started with. Staying away from debt is a big key for me.

Very well said! Loved it. If everyone just realizes that they are spiritual beings and not material beings, everything will fall into place and there would be peace and harmony. The problem is that most people see themselves as material beings and run after material pleasures which in the end bring only suffering. Just looking around and appreciating all of God’s creation will be wonderful and transforming. When we offer something to God, He accepts the sentiments of the person offering and not the things offered. Remembering the Lord prevents us from doing wrong. Thanks for your post!

Amen!! All wonderful 💯. I really wanna highlight what you said in that last bit of the video. About being vulnerable and humble and having to ask for things you need. It is precisely this point where The Church and the World split. The world says be independent, do it all yourself, figure it all out with your wit and ingenuity... God says be dependent on me I will provide ( often thru the Church/ friends /family). Surely as you said being good stewards and being responsible and working hard have their place. But helping others and being helped by others also has a very big place.... Especially when it comes to God's people.
Consider the Levites or levitical priests in which the other tribes were to share their resources with. Consider the church in Acts. Consider the disciples being sent out with nothing... Is it not people who have stuff or earn money?
I'm so happy that the UA-cam algorithm found this for me. I am going through transformation on this front jsut now. It is true, focussing on service, and seeing money only as a resource, not as a possession is important for success. That art of detachment is really hard at times - we are so conditioned into 'possessive' thinking, and indoctrinated by the system to believe we are what we have. I'm still a work in progress. Priority. Be happy in whatever state of wealth or poverty you are. If your wanting more, your not going to shine too bright for Christ. You will mis out on so many opportunities for Christ. Be filled with the joy of the Lord. Thats when you shine brightest for Christ. And yes, people in need will not shine very bright for Christ either. So, its a two edged sword of its own.
I understand what your saying but I’ve always been helpful even to my detriment without thinking about it. Now I’m so poor I’m in danger of losing my house and therefore my pets( babies). The only things that have kept me going. I pray and pray. I’ve recently been diagnosed with a physical condition that prevents any job I qualify for. I’d just be content with a job. I’m really struggling.

Very well said! Loved it. If everyone just realizes that they are spiritual beings and not material beings, everything will fall into place and there would be peace and harmony. The problem is that most people see themselves as material beings and run after material pleasures which in the end bring only suffering. Just looking around and appreciating all of God’s creation will be wonderful and transforming. When we offer something to God, He accepts the sentiments of the person offering and not the things offered. Remembering the Lord prevents us from doing wrong. Thanks for your post!

Amen!! All wonderful 💯. I really wanna highlight what you said in that last bit of the video. About being vulnerable and humble and having to ask for things you need. It is precisely this point where The Church and the World split. The world says be independent, do it all yourself, figure it all out with your wit and ingenuity... God says be dependent on me I will provide ( often thru the Church/ friends /family). Surely as you said being good stewards and being responsible and working hard have their place. But helping others and being helped by others also has a very big place.... Especially when it comes to God's people.
Consider the Levites or levitical priests in which the other tribes were to share their resources with. Consider the church in Acts. Consider the disciples being sent out with nothing... Is it not people who have stuff or earn money?

It is true, focussing on service, and seeing money only as a resource, not as a possession is important for success. That art of detachment is really hard at times - we are so conditioned into 'possessive' thinking, and indoctrinated by the system to believe we are what we have. I'm still a work in progress. Priority. Be happy in whatever state of wealth or poverty you are. If your wanting more, your not going to shine too bright for Christ. You will mis out on so many opportunities for Christ. Be filled with the joy of the Lord. Thats when you shine brightest for Christ. And yes, people in need will not shine very bright for Christ either. So, its a two edged sword of its own.

I understand what your saying but I’ve always been helpful even to my detriment without thinking about it. Now I’m so poor I’m in danger of losing my house and therefore my pets( babies). The only things that have kept me going. I pray and pray. I’ve recently been diagnosed with a physical condition that prevents any job I qualify for. I’d just be content with a job. I’m really struggling.
