@@Hooked-On-Fishing4 I admit bud i stay in region now and from Scotland i do miss Scotland for fishing i ised to do way back in Lochs and on River Earn in Perhtshire for sea trout with spinning with lures and Meps although its salt water im new in a way to sea fishing ..Used to bait fish then later in time on Lochs when fly only in some took over i had to try learn fly fishing Then i was able get that done although yrs now since ive fly fished and would be alike starting over again if i tried ..like learning a guitar and eventually playing through songs and stying away from Guitar for some yrs u lose it all ..And its starting again from scratch not than i am now as sais just into sea fishing now since came here ..but not been out much at all and nowadays fair fishier man . Used go yrs ago in freezing conditions in Feb and March etc young and silly them days as we are when young ..But recall once when trout fishing on Lochs / lakes began say in Middle of February or start March and one guy had turend up in the snow ..he could not await for start of season for trout ..he arrived at loch and loch was iced over . Erm dont think you shall get s=fishing today buddy he was told its iced over ..he looked rather sheepishly then with a rather sad face and all began to laugh out loud ..as he tue=rend around for home ..he should have phoned in as would have been told ..his could not await to go start of season backfired on him that morning lol .. As for fly fishing its same learning Gutar when u stop for a no of yrs u lose it all and have to begin all over again ^ Same fly fishing .. did catch many with fly / lure ..Whilst here I have been a no of times to Roker pier last cple yrs.. but now its closed with gales we have had in WInter ..When shall that be open god knows as top end is in need of repair big time seems ..Anyhow as said tight lines shall become .

The mesh fish better low or high bud
For me fishing it in but when it gets to high it’s hard to fish you need a rod stand I have one now so no more stick for me 😂
