Im disappointed we never got to see Dragic, Wade, Deng, Bosh, and Whiteside all healthy play more together. We never got to see Bosh play in the playoffs again.
It is a shame that 2016 heat team was very underrated and that was when Hassan was a beast and then got hurt against the raptors in round two if the heat had bosh and white side we would’ve definitely got to see heat vs cavs in the conference finals
Canes Access they just might have because the heat did beat them that year aswell would’ve been very interesting and it would’ve been a heat warriors finals which I always wanted to see
Canes Access they’re not beating the Cavs but they’re pushing us to a close 7 games. The raptors pushed us to 6, but it really, really wasn’t that close
Wow that means you are at least older than 3. 2016, those were the days man! Back before color TV and 3 point shooting. It’s crazy you can remember that far back!
2kaufert nah that was actually pretty abysmal considering Kyrie Irving 1. Is not the best player on a championship team 2. Is a terrible leader 3. Can’t stay healthy
He’s not talented enough to be a small ball center. If I was a coach I don’t think I would even be confident that Roberson could score on a 7 footer he’s not a good enough shooter or dribbler, and he doesn’t have the strength like PJ Tucker to defends these big centers.
@@cnred7987 he would likely have to be it into that role in the off-season and train his body and his moves to fit what whatever team has hims needs are
The Goran Dragic trade actually involved a 2018 first round pick. The suns drafted Zhaire Smith with it in 2018 and traded him, along with the 2021 first round pick acquired in the same deal, to Philadelphia for Bridges. The Sixers pick used to draft Bridges in the draft actually was the same one that Phoenix traded to the Sixers in the 2015 deadline deal also involving Milwaukee; the pick's ultimate origin was the Lakers, who traded it to Phoenix in 2012.
Enes Kanter was able to give rebounds and points off the bench, worked very well with Russ in the pick&roll and overall a fan favorite in OKC. Only problem was he was a big liability on defense especially to teams like GS.
That 2015 blazer team was a very underrated team. Should’ve gone to the wcf. I think Lamarcus also got injured right before the playoffs too. They beat Houston the yr before and it was Houston vs gsw in the wcf.
So glad I got to see prime IT play at TD garden back in 2016. It was against the knicks and I’m pretty sure Avery Bradley hit a game winner. Good times
Phoenix had 3 point guards and they chose the one that would never make an all star game 😂😂😂. And got literally nothing in return for those all star pgs! No disrespect to Eric Bledsoe but, they really messed up that deadline, like they do most things
As a Celtics fan I thought Boston was going to trade to trade for Dragic. Instead we traded what we got from a trade exception (minus Tyler Zeller) for Isaiah.
Only real bucks fans remember Brandon knight getting robbed out of an all star appearance, losing to pat Beverly in the all star skill challenge, then getting traded for the reigning rookie of the year after tweeting a pick in Miami saying he was coming home
He ain’t NBA, doesn’t have the all around game, basically all backup NBA shooting guards (like Clarkson, Beasley, Hood, etc.) could probably average 25-35 pts in Europe If they’re coach lets them shoot that much
Im disappointed we never got to see Dragic, Wade, Deng, Bosh, and Whiteside all healthy play more together. We never got to see Bosh play in the playoffs again.

black black relax spicy p has a really high ceiling and way better ball control

I remember the good old days of IT on the Celtics, good times. good times
Yep...
Remember when they had kyrie? Shit was pretty dope ngl

I know man. One of my fav players of all-time. I hope he gets to play in the nba again one day.
Are we just going to ignore he scored every point with Shaq?
Thank you 😂
He scored 3 points with Kobe check your facts bro
he did the same thing with bertans once
Pretty accurate. Shaq did score every point vs the Nets in the finals
i was looking for this comment lol
Talk about the 2016 Free agency and all those ugly contracts.
rod axel Lakers with the big brain moves of signing Loul Deng and Mozgov to max contracts 💀
For real Scrubs were getting paid like stars
They had to fill out their cap space, granted they probably couldve done better
Yeah, that'd be an interesting vid
I bet this years of season would be crazier if andre Roberson was a small ball center
majority of his points come in the paint also, so he basically just a short center
He’s not talented enough to be a small ball center. If I was a coach I don’t think I would even be confident that Roberson could score on a 7 footer he’s not a good enough shooter or dribbler, and he doesn’t have the strength like PJ Tucker to defends these big centers.

Roberson is much better as a wing defender. It’d be criminal to put him out of his element

why was this recommended
It sucked what happened to IT but the Celtics were getting a great deal.
Yeah but in the end cavs got collin sexton so I guess they won long term?
Michael carter Williams trade Brandon knight was missed I think
The Bucks wete like 10 games above .500. Brandom Knight was not great but was a better fit for Middleton and Giannis.
I remember this trade deadline because I didnt pay close attention to the nba and all of the sudden everyone was everywhere
Benny I see you in every comment section
This is in everyone’s recommended for no reason
Watching this with 2021 hindsight is crazy
Why was this just now recommended for me
Reggie Jackson slander looking 📉📉📉 after 2021 Playoffs
Day 2 of asking Funky to start a MyGM Series
Why is this in my recommended
he's going at it with shaq in this video
3:04 "you get assets and flip em" if you know you know
And we back
Enes Kanter was able to give rebounds and points off the bench, worked very well with Russ in the pick&roll and overall a fan favorite in OKC. Only problem was he was a big liability on defense especially to teams like GS.
2015/16 Teams of the Ecf were underrated good. Not one team under 44 wins for Playoff Spots.
You talking about that 2015 Blazers team gave me a wave of memories. I miss that team so much 😢
why did I just get this recommended lol
Isaiah Thomas trade was an absolute steal for Boston
I never knew u were a Celtics fan
Thumbs up to this man
That 2015 blazer team was a very underrated team. Should’ve gone to the wcf. I think Lamarcus also got injured right before the playoffs too. They beat Houston the yr before and it was Houston vs gsw in the wcf.
They wouldn't have beaten the Warriors unless I'm forgetting if that injury determined their seeding.
Shaq's Teammates in this video: wide open due to Shaq being double and triple teamed
Shaq: *Fine, I'll do it myself*
I remember seeing that KJ McDaniels trade and thinking it's over for his career he's getting no minutes behind harden
Damn this was 6 years ago? I’m getting old
IT came from the Suns, wasn't it?
Yes. Dragic, Blesdoe & IT were in PHX all at the same time. Two years later Bledsoe got traded to MIL

@@jaymorin72 I was wondering because at the beginning he said IT came from the Kings

Best Thumbnail of the Day Award 🙌🏽
KJ really won the 2018 Summer League Finals MVP then dipped
Who?
Al Am KJ McDaniels
Most people know him for the 5 fouls in like 3 sec or whatever it was on Drummond that one time
He got that coveted ring and got outta there
Only reason blazers got Afflalo was because Matthews tore his acl, I think batum and Lopez were hurt to going into the playoffs, a shame
Hey dude just an idea, but what if you played subscribers in the games you show during the background?
Andre miller was dope. I remember watching his 52 point game with Portland, and he never got hurt.
So glad I got to see prime IT play at TD garden back in 2016. It was against the knicks and I’m pretty sure Avery Bradley hit a game winner. Good times
Bring back my gm for the quarantine
He needs to fix the Knicks again I’d love to see Funky try that
Kj mcDaniels was 🔥on 2k
Alexey Shved not doing anything now?
He's the highest paid player in Europe. Getting NBA level money.
i love how the gameplay is just shaq dominating in the pain haha
The Okogie pick got sent to MN in the Rubio trade, if I remember correctly
Phoenix had 3 point guards and they chose the one that would never make an all star game 😂😂😂. And got literally nothing in return for those all star pgs! No disrespect to Eric Bledsoe but, they really messed up that deadline, like they do most things
Day 700919387464810 of asking Funky to do myGm
Crazy how this almost became normal. 2015 was crazy, but i completely forgot because of the next 3 years
As a Celtics fan I thought Boston was going to trade to trade for Dragic. Instead we traded what we got from a trade exception (minus Tyler Zeller) for Isaiah.
That season is so underrated
What?
Vilda4Bass that*
It was Lual Deng Wade Bosh Joe Johnson and dragic . Whiteside started to contribute next year.
kyle guy just reminds me of that 2k gamer guy
Good video Mr funk
It feels like its been 10 years since philly lost sam hinkie
Kyle guy has played 2 min and is on 2ktv this week. Makes sense!
Kanter was good for OKC the team. And great for the city, helping as much as he could.
Isaiah was traded from the Suns not the Kings
Only real bucks fans remember Brandon knight getting robbed out of an all star appearance, losing to pat Beverly in the all star skill challenge, then getting traded for the reigning rookie of the year after tweeting a pick in Miami saying he was coming home
Seeing Woj just tweeting “good lord” makes me immensely uncomfortable.
sved is in europe playing for khimki in russia. If u see him play he basically has the green light harden has and does the same moves
Shved is right now tearing up the russian league
nice one recommended
Same here. I forgot funky used to use music in the background
So when was I.T. in Phoenix?
One of the best trade deadlines ever
Okogie ended up in Minnesota in the Ricky Rubio trade
I actually remember where I was when this was all going down.
Where were you Alec?
Good question
Where waiting...
It’s really weird how the suns traded both Thomas and Dragic at the deadline
And were forever looking for a point guard this whole time lol
So early it's before the trade deadline, it would be crazy if it's true man.
I wonder if that 2021 pick in that big trade fiasco became a good pick
Shved is probably the best player in the europe, just because he doesnt play in the NBA does not mean he sucks and is not good at basketball
Enes Kanter turned to Carmelo Anthony and then Dennis Scholder.
The kings were not involved with the IT trade, Phoenix did.
It's hard to believe how many players are bounced around the country like a used car.
Woj fingers we’re probably dead after this day
I’m not the only one that hates where the comments are right?
what happened to the comments?
Hinkie wasnt perfect. But he did good. We want bruh back
Im going to bat like that for reggie.
The west was stacked that season
Isaiah Thomas came from Phoenix
Miami have always been good
Shved is actually one of the best players in Europe now
Yeah, but we’re talking about the USA here, REAL B-BALL, yall hear, 😅
Schved’s actually the best player in any continent in the world rn, get your facts straight man. Don’t disrespect the 🐐
He was the man back in my career for me.
I mean Reggie wasn’t that bad what did people think he’d be like Kemba because he was pretty good
Blazers gave up on Will Barton that year
One of the worst decisions they’ve made as an organization oh well then there’s MJ and KD.
Furkan 🐐
I thought Isiah went from the kings to the suns though
Lmao IT came from phenonix bro
Yo am I trippin or does he sound like rusty buckets
Shved is probably the best scorer in Eurolygue. He will bee back at the NBA u will see. Don't @ me
He ain’t NBA, doesn’t have the all around game, basically all backup NBA shooting guards (like Clarkson, Beasley, Hood, etc.) could probably average 25-35 pts in Europe If they’re coach lets them shoot that much
Funk why did you mention how many likes the woj tweet had lol
