Flour sack towels, Dishes (Corel is my favorite because they don’t break easy) Pint and 1/2 canning jars for drinking and doubles for storing food ( leftovers) 1 box of the glass multi size locking storage containers. You can use in the microwave and oven. And they work awesome in the freezer. (Sam’s club has a good box of them) Silverware, knives, cutting board. Pots and pans. (Stainless steel) and a non stick frying pan. Measuring spoons and cups. A lg cookie sheet. Colander.
When my grandson moved out, I went to Dollar Tree got a clothes basket and went through the aisles picking up things I knew he would not think of. Aluminum foil, Ziploc bags for storage and freezer, cleaning products etc . Then took and gave to him when he had a house warming dinner. He loved it.
I always thought about that with my 2 kids so I had a boy and a girl so since they were probably 14/15 years old every Christmas 🎄🎁 I would give them 1 item for their future house, besides the other gifts, kettle and toaster, irons, multi cooker, plates, cups, sandwich maker, coffee grinder, coffee machine, well things that are useful for them in the future and they had a good amount of stuff that was needed because all is needed when we start, not all have it but, I didn't had, but we need anything that anyone can help with, they kept all in the house loft, waiting for the day.
I might have snort laughed when Garrett turned on the mixer! Loki is not pleased with me at the moment. I interrupted her nap! This video is GOLD! Excellent job! :)
You guys are so much fun! These cookies look amazingly delicious. They would be the favorite cookies here. I don’t know what I would do with 54 of them though, lol. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe and your family time with your son. Great job, Garrett! Good luck with all of your future endeavors. You have a wonderful family!
You guys are so fun and it is nice to see your son. He is a handsome young man. One thing I was thinking that he would need in his kitchen, is what I saw him using as he was taking the cookie sheet out of the oven. Oven mitts....lol God bless you all and have a Merry Christmas....Sherri-Idaho
hey Garrett good to meet u! chocolate sets! u need more than less for a the 1st time u move out, so look around ur mom n dads kitchen n u need all that u see! loved the video!!!
When I got married, at the bridal shower among the gifts was a laundry basket filled with odds ‘n ends to set up house. Measuring cups, hand mixer, zip top baggies, coffee cups-mugs, cereal bowls, a set of silverware, etc.
These are like peanut butter blossoms!!! Or peanut butter kisses !!! That just a peanut butter cookie base and a Hershey kiss !! My daughter makes those every year with her grandma!!! She will have to try the peanut butter cup next time !!!
Your son is amazing! He reminds me of mysonthechef….it could happen! He’s got the personality for UA-cam for sure….he’s a good combo of his parents! My son is 6’2” and I’m 5’1 1/2”….sounds familiar huh? LOL. I need to try these cookies for sure!!! YUM! Love y’all! ❤❤❤
This video was actually from last year. He moved out a few months ago and all of my Tupperware has disappeared as well as some glass pans. I fully hear you on this issue.
18 oz jar peanut butter (your choice of creamy or chunky), 1 1/2 cup sugar, and 2 eggs. Mix well with a wooden spoon. Put by teaspoonfuls on ungreased baking sheet. Bake in preheated 350*F oven for 12 - 15 minutes, until tops are dry and cracked. Remove from oven and immediately press (gently) a Hershey’s kiss in the center of each cookie. Cool on cookies sheet 1 - 2 minutes before removing to cooling rack until completely cool. Makes about 48 cookies.
Hi Ally, I watched & saved a lot of your health & beauty recipes. I was wondering if you know of any lotions or balms for severely dry & damaged feet. Sincerely Bren Stout
You say Reese’s correctly. When I hear Reesees I cringe. I don’t understand why some insist on saying Reesees. Reese was the last name of the guy who created these peanut butter cups, and when Reese is followed by an apostrophe and “s”, it means that the pieces belong to Reese. Just sayin. Oh, and those cookies sound delightful, I will be making some. Reese’s pieces are my favorite.
Everything is needed. Sorry, you will find out very quickly you will need more than a few items. Very idealistic, you might try to locate your extra pans and etc from Mom and Dad, at least to start. You might not have the "best" but you can get away with 2nds or thrift store items.
Help please... I made these and the cookie did not flatten out. Do you think I overworked the dough or maybe user error with my electric oven that I am learning to cook with... I did flip the tray as it's not a convection oven. Flavor is amazing! 🤷🤦

You made me laugh all the way through. We are stuck at home with COVID and no cookies for Christmas. So I am living vicariously through you. ❤️🎄

Right?!?! He’s a riot. I swear he’s a mini Shawn.
Fabulous cookies! I was gonna say your son is your "mini me"...but that doesn't fit. ha He's very handsome. Thanks for the recipe.
I swear he looks and sounds just like Shawn. This was actually last year and I’m trying to get him back on for another video soon.

Colanders!!! Can’t make mac n’ cheese without one! 🤭
Ali, I sent you an email w/the Christmas Crack recipe.
My son would love these!
I saw it and haven’t had time to respond but your family is beautiful. You and your daughters are stunning!
@ Aw, thank you, Ali! 🥰❤️🙏🏽
Lol I was cooking the PB kiss version. No flour with Splenda and eggs. Lovely cookie without the Hershey’s kiss on top.
18 oz jar peanut butter (your choice of creamy or chunky), 1 1/2 cup sugar, and 2 eggs. Mix well with a wooden spoon. Put by teaspoonfuls on ungreased baking sheet. Dish soap, laundry soap and basket, all different kinds of towels and clothes.
Make fun all you want but those toilet bombs are seriously 'the bomb' Thank you for all you do.
Most important after basic things to cook in, CONTAINERS that are microwave safe. It's hard to cook for one and will always have leftovers.
Hi Ally, I watched & saved a lot of your health & beauty recipes. I was wondering if you know of any lotions or balms for severely dry & damaged feet.

Tallow or shea are both amazing for cracked or dry feet
I bake my PB cookies in mini muffin tins, after putting your Reese’s in the tinned cookies you get Reese’s PB cup cookies. MMMMMM
Yummy

It’s hard being an English nerd isn’t it? I sympathize.
@ 😋
Do you offer a recipe book for all of your food, cleaners, etc.?
Not yet but we’re hoping to sometime this year. In the meantime they are all in the description of each video.
Do you make blueberry jalapeno jam ty love your. Vids
We have a raspberry jalapeno that you can use blueberry in.

You can still press the candy in and flatten them that way. We’ve had that happen before too.
@@LittleHillHomesteadGaThank you!
Toilet paper. Lots of toilet paper! That’s the thing you NEVER want to run out of.
Can u make peeps ?
Hmm, I’ll have to try.
