- I heard this story on the news since it is local to me and thought it sounded crazy. The more I looked into the store the crazier it became! The news is playing it off as not a big deal but kicking out residents in that short of a time frame and the link between the building and Venezuelan gangs is hard to ignore.

I’ve worked in the worst of the worst apartment complexes in Omaha, Nebraska, and it sounds like the city is committing crimes against the owner of the apartment complex. They intentionally didn’t take care of the crime to push the landlord out of the property. I’m sure there’s some type of political reason behind it, making these people terrorist under American law and the definitions of American law. Pretty much if the crime is being committed and you call the police and the police refused to help for political reasons, they are committing a terrorist attack.

I had Venezuelan neighbors , 3 families leasing in my nice, peaceful neighborhood. One of their women married an American..They brought drugs, crime, bearings, wild parties all night till or ing,garbage and beer cans thrown in our streets....naked girls walking around outside during their drug parties. Some finally got arrested. The rest moved out. Now we have a nice professional man who renovated the entire house. He's the best neighbor....an American.

In New Mexico we are having problems with cannabis farms popping all over - including across the road from my ranch - staffed by Chinese migrants. Giant greenhouses pop up almost overnight. Code enforcement seems to be looking the other way. I called them and was told there were no permits and would investigate. That was 4 months ago and nothing has changed.
I was thinking about an interview as well but not sure I want to go that route

That inspection report is absolutely insane. My house wouldn’t pass never-mind my apartment building. This really seems like the city wants to reclaim this property to house migrants. I’ll be keeping an eye on this since it’s pretty concerning.

The entire process was suss. They were listing bent screens and cars with expired tags as code violations. There were defintley some major issues but when they show a picture of 2 guys jump starting their car and list it as a code violation for working on your car it makes you question everything else.

This same thing is going on in a private campground in Ohio. The lots are owned by the individuals and they have to pay property taxes and basically homeowners assessments. They have a lot of empty places because people have passed away and the family has not done anything with the places. They have a bunch of drug users and squatters and we have even seen the sheriff's office drop people off at the gate. We were told if you see something say something but then they used the amount of calls to say it was a nuisance and to remove the campgrounds license so the lots that were available to rent for weekends or during the summer for tent or RV camping are no longer allowed to be rented and the county is working on taking the whole place over and that will displace the ones who actually do what they are supposed to and pay their way. It's sickening that they can use the fact that someone calls the police for help against them and in this case the county attorney never follows thru and presses charges on anyone

That definitely sounded like that city was specifically targeting that particular landlord and going after him. I'm surprised they didn't say "This room was painted blue, instead of white. Violation." And then, the fact they are putting their own government power and authority on the citizen landlord to take care of things (the crime), as if the private citizen landlord is the government, that says it all. Just think if the landlord had done that. They would have taken him in for carrying out THEIR duties as a government. He's not the police or the court system. He just owns the building. These governments are more crazy than whatever happened at that apartment complex.

One problem is that some renters are not good renters in that they don’t tell the landlord when their detector doesn’t work or their door knob isn’t working or screen doesn’t work anymore, etc. etc. etc. my mom is like this. She has so many messed up little things in her apartment like drawers that aren’t working anymore that she doesn’t bother to tell the landlord to fix. When we were renters, we would say everything and it was because we owned a home before and we knew we would want to know if something needed to be fixed in our own home. So we tried to be the best renters we could be and let them know.

Seeing what El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele did for his country with the opening of CECOT is kind of ground breaking.
A follow up on this would be interesting. Like, did they all leave? Or did many of them just become squatters that can’t be removed? Will the owner make repairs? Will the property be condemned by the city? Maybe the owner is part of this and this is the only way to get rid of the current problem.

ICE is helping said illegals throughout the U.S. The information coming from Florida Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd about ICE not doing anything to help local law enforcement solve crimes by people in the U.S. illegally. He stated one a person is turned over to ICE they cite and release criminals. The Sheriff can explain it better, in fact he just busted up a criminal group the other day. You see the only way to get people out that have squatted, is to make large noise, quit paying water bill, annoy in any way so they’ll leave on their own. This mass issue behind squatters is and has been a problem a long time.

Sounds like an inspection where they come through and identify the things that need attention then come back after a set amount of time to see if the problems have been fixed.
