@@TurnA-ig3ym There is a bass conversion here on utube where the frets where removed and the grooves left unfilled. Seems to work fine. Maybe the grooves are better left unfilled

what did you use to keep the tiny cuts of wood to stay in, wood filler?
I think it's wood glue
White glue
Is grinding the nut essential? and if it is how much should i grind?
What are you using to cover the fretboard?
Polyurethane lacquer.
@ Guitar Service (Blagoja Gigov) I can not use it properly with a spray gun. How can you use it? Any suggestions, please?
@@kero1905 i apply it with spray gun, 2-3 coats , sanding between each coat and buffing ..
