I lost my copilot about a year ago. His name was Loki and I had him for over 12 years. He had seizures and left us before his time. RIP and stay strong.
That is Donnie Wahlberg, Mark's older brother. He was the mentally ill guy in the bathroom in the beginning of The Sixth Sense who shot Bruce Willis. He also plays a detective in the show Blue Bloods on tv currently. Pretty good actor considering he started in the boy band New Kids on the Block. Everybody sing...."Oh oh oh oh O...."
You have to keep in mind, that when John tried to kill himself, he hadn't developed that Jigsaw mindset yet. He was just a regular guy, trying to kill himself in a fairly regular way, by driving off a cliff. When he survived that, he started thinking about his "higher purpose" and only then got into building these things.
I got a chuckle when you said, "He kinda looks like Mark Wahlberg.." Those genes are strong in that family. Donnie's got a pretty decent catalog, too. You'd be surprised what all he's been in.

"Oh, yes, there will be blood. Fun Fact: Shawnee Smith, Tobin Bell, and Dina Meyer are the only actors to reprise their roles from Saw (2004). Authentic Battle Damage Fact: Timothy Burd accidentally hit Glenn Plummer's eye after he emerged from the furnace. They had to stop filming for half an hour to make sure Plummer was okay. He can be seen holding his hand to his eye after this occurs. Needle Pit Fact: It took approximately 120,000 syringes to complete the "Needle Pit" trap. It took four days for four people to replace all of the syringe tips with fiber tips for the "Needle Pit" trap. Gelatin and a little water were added to the "Needle Pit" to make the syringes more movable and slippery. Razor Box Fact: The "Razor Box" trap containing the syringe actually has a padlock with a key in it. It can be seen, out of focus, at the top of the screen when Addison (Emmanuelle Vaugier) puts her hands into the trap. The filmmakers deliberately included this as a way of showing that Jigsaw (Tobin Bell) knew the characters would rush in without checking the trap for a simple solution.

10:37 Jigsaw actually gives us a hint as to what the poison he uses in the house is. In the tape later on he references that the poison is the same as the one used in the Tokyo subway attacks. It's a poison called sarin. It works by interfering with your brain's ability to communicate with your muscles. Your body produces neurotransmitters that act as on/off switches for muscular contraction. "On" to flex and "Off" to relax. Sarin makes it so your body can only turn on your muscles. Even if your muscles get tired and start burning, you cant relax them. This progresses to your breathing muscles and heart. Eventually you die of suffocation and cardiac arrest. It's an awful death. Sarin is hilariously illegal to manufacture or posess to the point that countries consider it a weapon of mass destruction. The precursors (chemicals used to make Sarin) are highly regulated (obviously), but do have some commercial uses. An engineer like John may be able to get his hands on some precursor.

Awesome video as always. I haven't seen any of this saw films after this one. Looks like I'm going to have to get through them all so I can keep watching your reactions. 😀
The trap with the furnace was relatively easy, all he had to do was twist the valve. He would have suffered minor burns, but would have lived and gotten two antidotes. As for the one where the girl sticks both her arms into the glass cases, it was also easy, but she didn't think before acting. You could use the fingers of one hand to spread the blades by pushing at the base of the blades (no cuts), slipping your other arm in the now bigger hole between those blades, grab the needle from the bottom, and take it out. That's the only solution, since we know Jigsaw always gives a chance to survive. If they did this with more teamwork, another person could have kept the blades spreaded with two hands (if the person has more strength, the can probably spread the blades further apart), and a girl with a skinnier arm could have slipped through easily.
That would probably work! But the razor box has cuffs that extend from the base of the blades to make this hard, if not impossible. If you look at the very top of the rear of the box (when it first comes into frame), you can see something up there. It's a key and a padlock. If she had taken time to look at the box, she would've found it and been able to open the back wall of the box and retrieve the antidote. However, Jigsaw knew that, in their desperation, they would make an impulsive decision and trap themselves.
Detective Matthew's game/test was to; as a renegade cop. His test was to play by the rules, not to rush/force procedure. Not to go in "guns blazing" and being the "hero cop" main-character-syndrome type that he is known to be. Just sit, talk, get your son. But he failed.
Did you recognize the actor playing Det. Matthews' son, Daniel? He was also in Scream 4 as Robbie, the other cinema club geek that was always livestreaming.
9:26 - that's Donnie Wahlberg, Mark's brother. He was also in The Sixth Sense as the disturbed guy who shot Bruce Willis. And yes that is the woman from Starship Troopers. She was also in the first Saw movie
@JL just came by to add a comment and like and watch your recap of what you saw. I can not do gore anymore lost that "fun" at 30 now at 50+ I have no stomach for it (Insert joke here). Thanks again to you JL for the fun and the EOM crew and your amazing patrons.
John attempted suicide before he started kidnapping ppl, it was his inspiration cause he survived a fall of a cliff but his body couldn't fight Cancer. Also, kinda funny you said he didn't want to die, just wanted some attention....that's what John thought about Paul Leahy in the 1st movie...."You are a perfectly sane human being, yet last week you ran a straight razor across your wrist. Did you truly wanted to die or did you just want some attention?"
Another masterpiece! I love these movies because Jigsaw was so smart and strategic. Everything is always so perfect. He gives you the instructions and it's up to you to decide to decide what you are willing to do to live
If you look at the trap where the girl put her hands in the thing and her wrists were being cut, if she'd just looked at it properly she'd have seen the padlock with the key still in it on the other side. She coulda just unlocked the box and taken the antidote for herself. I do wonder what was on the tape Jigsaw made for her which she didn't even listen to, just threw it aside.
The original story was 'The Desperate' about a group of guys trapped in house.. the producer felt it like SAW.. so they called original writer and make some changes.. and proceed with SAW 2..
I love your reaction to what ive seen you react to so far i had to sub cause your funny and great reactor and not to mention you making watching these movies enjoyable idk how but you do man much love to you brother
As usual, your commentary kept me entertained. 😄 You're reaction to seeing Amanda was exactly the same for me. After what she went through in the first film, I'd thought she learned her lesson too and that's when I suspected she was working with Jigsaw. Unfortunately, I have to bow out from your continued Saw watch as I never made it beyond the 2nd film and I'm not a fan of gore. Sending good vibes as you continue through this insane Saw ride!

9:26 - that's Donnie Wahlberg, Mark's brother. He was also in The Sixth Sense as the disturbed guy who shot Bruce Willis. And yes that is the woman from Starship Troopers. She was also in the first Saw movie
You are a brave man, I didn't think you were gonna do another Saw. Well done. Love your channel.
Walhburg, yes, and a backstreet boy back in the dsy
@JL just came by to add a comment and like and watch your recap of what you saw. I can not do gore anymore lost that "fun" at 30 now at 50+ I have no stomach for it (Insert joke here). Thanks again to you JL for the fun and the EOM crew and your amazing patrons.
J Man awesome reaction bud 🙌! Your reactions never cease to amaze me 😂!
"He done made m0therfn
That is Marks brother Donnie.
That's Donnie...the 1st famous Wahlberg! My New Kids on the Block 'bad-boy'😍
😂😊💚
John attempted suicide before he started kidnapping ppl, it was his inspiration cause he survived a fall of a cliff but his body couldn't fight Cancer. Also, kinda funny you said he didn't want to die, just wanted some attention....that's what John thought about Paul Leahy in the 1st movie...."You are a perfectly sane human being, yet last week you ran a straight razor across your wrist. Did you truly wanted to die or did you just want some attention?"
Enjoy the cinematic journey ☺
The biggest twist to this movie is a time lag.
Remember what Jigsaw said "He's in a *safe* place" - 39:42
Funniest react channel on UA-cam right here y’all! I’m stoked for this!!
You couldn't have picked a more fitting t-shirt.
Another masterpiece! I love these movies because Jigsaw was so smart and strategic. Everything is always so perfect. He gives you the instructions and it's up to you to decide to decide what you are willing to do to live
i love your video shoutout from france ! u rock it
hopefully one day you watch the movie "Oldboy" or "Strange Days"
"Jigsaw is the Goat." Facts
If you look at the trap where the girl put her hands in the thing and her wrists were being cut, if she'd just looked at it properly she'd have seen the padlock with the key still in it on the other side. She coulda just unlocked the box and taken the antidote for herself. I do wonder what was on the tape Jigsaw made for her which she didn't even listen to, just threw it aside.
"He kinda looks like Mark Wahlberg.....". I'm deceased😅
I’m beyond excited MurderWhistle is going through with the whole series!! ❤❤❤ if he thinks JigSaw ain’t shit now… 😂❤
The original story was 'The Desperate' about a group of guys trapped in house.. the producer felt it like SAW.. so they called original writer and make some changes.. and proceed with SAW 2..
I always feel so bad for Daniel. Poor baby will have night terrors forever.
U need to do just a week of Saw movies to finish it off. Loved this reaction
I am so glad that you are watching the saw movies, I will be there with you 😮
Here come the bubble guts..
I feel like you get so grossed out you get heartburn 😂
That gun keyhole trap really caught him off guard.
I love your reaction to what ive seen you react to so far i had to sub cause your funny and great reactor and not to mention you making watching these movies enjoyable idk how but you do man much love to you brother
As usual, your commentary kept me entertained. 😄
You're reaction to seeing Amanda was exactly the same for me.
That's Donnie Wahlburg, brother of Mark, and he was in the 90's boy band New Kids On The Block
Don't cry because it's over, smile that it happened ❤️
