    Dear Dylane,I’ve already studied from the first class to this classes in this pronunciation series. I can read mostly words of French thank you so much for your useful classes. But sometimes I will feel I forgot some of the points in pervious classes, i have to go back to classes before again and again,do you have any suggestions on it, on the trouble to memorize the rules more effectively.

      Unfortunately only practice will help :/ You can also read and listen at the same time (like a book and the audio version) and practice the different sounds but that night be overwhelming at the beginning!

    Hi, Dylan. I’ve been learning the lessons for two months, but I still struggle with the sound ‘p,’ especially when pronouncing words containing it. Should it be pronounced with the middle of the tongue touching the roof of the mouth, similar to the mouth position for the American English ‘r’?”

  • @pinksherry9563

    Hi Dylan, the plosive 'p' sounds almost same as french 'b' to me. Then what are the diffrences between french 'b' and 'p', 't' and 'd', 'g' and 'k'?

    • @TheperfectfrenchwithDylane
      @TheperfectfrenchwithDylane  2 роки тому

      Hi :) All the ones you listed are plosives but I am not too sure what do you mean by the differences? Did you watch the other videos about those letters?

      @@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane Hi Dylane, as a non-native french spaker, I find french plosive letters non-plosivrs hard to distinguish. For example, if there's a word 'table' and a word 'dable', I wouldm't be able to tell the difference by listening. Yes, I have watched your other videos too.

    • @williamylee

      Same, I find it hard to distinguish and pronounce the sounds of B and P, especially when P is followed by A. For example, words like "bain" and "pain", "pas" and "bas", "parler" as if it's like "barler", they sound the same to my ears. But other times the P is very clearly different than B, for example in pluie, puis, pour, etc.

    Pt? Don't you mean pst? 🤪🤪😜.. I couldn't help it again. Im that straggler all the way in the back making all that unecennecessary noise? 🤫. Hey, DYLANE🙋. I'm making flash cards... And it's taking forever. My gawd... I can see some of the lessons surface as the words on my list are coming together... But it's not really my list because I copied it from someones lesson... I'm not going to say who... But I think you know her very well.🤦🤪😜. Pst Dylane this is going to be a long journey... I want to ask a bazillion questions... But not for all the right reasons.. I look forward to the lessons to come to begin clicking the way you teach them. Okay, bye-bye.

    • @Thomas-nk4iv
      @Thomas-nk4iv 3 роки тому +1

      @@TheperfectfrenchwithDylane I think flash cards are a great idea. Right now I am trying to figure out how to make them more memorable. For example a word list representing the words to be expected and then the words themselves, but with a twist... The words are like this... Ex: Sem__er, followed by definition: to seem. And or maybe used in a sentence or a picture when possible😉. Be my guest. That's why earlier I was asking about syllables to help in aiding this process in memorizing not only words but the sounds. It feels more fluent for the type of person I am. And now looking at some words how you say have family spelling/meaning so they can look the same in spelling and sound similar but with slight variations.
      Wishing you the best🤛
