EXECUTED ON HIS OWN DOORSTEP - THE MURDER OF AAMIR SIDDIQI
Вставка
- Опубліковано 21 вер 2024
- In Cardiff, 2010, a teenager was killed in his home by 2 masked men. It was a brutal crime that shocked a community, and a nation, and which seemed to have no motive. The investigation that followed would prove one of the most complex ever undertaken in Wales and reveal a botched hit and a tragic case of mistaken identity. This is what happens when money and drugs cause the lives of decent people to collide with the criminal underworld. This is the murder of Aamir Siddiqi.

I knew this lad , great great lad , he lived a few streets away from me I remember when it happened , my mother wouldn't even let me out the door for weeks just incase something else happened, ask anyone in Cardiff they remember this case they remember the pain , I pray for justice ❤
This case was heart wrenching. Emma thank you for sharing this young man's legacy. He will be missed even by those of us who don't know him. We need people like him in this world.
The story of his parents trying to stop the murderers and Amir's mother jumping on one of their backs brought tears to my eyes, how utterly heartbreaking.
I live in South Wales and work at UHW hospital in Cardiff. I remember the case, and believe me all of the Emergency Staff at the unit remember it too, so many cried their eyes out on that Sunday. You don’t often have such a terrible case come in via Ambulance and see a child stabbed to death lying in the back. They still tried even though it’s likely he died shortly after the attack as he had no pulse at his home. We still always try because it’s a child and we’re all mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters, so we find it really hard to stop the resuscitation and let go. It always takes away a part of you with the death of your patient, especially one who’s so young and innocent. And although we have to move on to other patients, don’t ever think we forget, we never do and that’s why depression is so prevalent in the NHS.
I'm sorry you all had to feel that hurt. I just wanted to say thank you all for all you do everyday to help, heal and care for all your people. You guys are truly angles on earth. Have a great week and stay safe
Thank you all so so much for caring... ♥️
If the hospital is half a mile away why didn't the ambulance get there within a minute or two?
❤
I 😢
Thank you so much for covering this case. Aamir was such a wonderful person, and he had such potential. Was a really hard listen, as I knew him at college and still remember him so fondly.
As the mother of a recovering heroin addict, I appreciate your sensitivity to the members of society that struggle with addiction.
Such a heartbreaking case. It's disgusting how many evil monsters are released from prison to ruin innocent peoples lives. I hope the do gooders can sleep at night. Prayers for this heartbroken family and their beautiful son Aamir 🙏
Emma, I totally agree with your stance of losing human rights once you take someone's life, and thank you for having the gall to say it. So many people shy away from this topic, but I believe it's completely fair.
CONGRATULATIONS Emma,Pete,2 sons and your brother that’s why I use 💗💙💙💙💙 for all of your content!!! 🎉159K subscriber’s it’s phenomenal amount and 1000 per week!!! I can’t even imagine watching my son being murdered , even trying to fight off these monsters. It’s so scary . My heart breaks for the family .
Thank you for sharing Welsh cases also. We are often forgotten. I remember this case, I live close. The whole of our community was devastated.
Emma ty for covering this case. I can’t even remember a case being covered in the news (in America) of a non white victim that gives them any type of humanity or back story. This coverage is so important for helping us move as society in the direction we need to be where all humans have equal rights, and all victims are treated with as much care and compassion as they deserve. The photo of his funeral really hit me square in the gut. I can’t imagine how the utterly senseless nature of this crime effected his family and the community where he lived. 💔💔💔
Thank you, Emma, for introducing us to this beautiful boy and his family. Amir's story is so unbelievably tragic, as is the fact that it's one I was not familiar with.
Emma,
would it be possible for you to cover the tragic case of Forrest "Butch" Bowyer and his 12 yr old son Brett?
It took place in Russell County Alabama back in February 17, 2002. I would truly like to hear the details of this case done justice in your own Emma Kenny fashion ❤️
I haven’t watched your content in ages Emma, I felt like I needed a break from consuming true crime. Looking forward to settling down with you again and you bringing light to these victims
Thank you for bringing this case to our attention - my heart breaks for his family and I will keep them in my prayers. I too am heartened by the sentence and praise the judge for having the b*lls to give them 40 years as a minimum - there are a lot of judges out there would could take a leaf out of his book 💙
Thank you for covering this case Emma. I grew up near Cardiff and attended college there. I remember this case being reported locally at the time. Very sad. Roath Park is lovely. So glad he has a bench there. That poor young teen.
How had I never heard of this case??? It should be infamous amongst UK crime cases.
Thank u for telling us about this case Emma. Thank u for showing so much respect for the family.
I’m from Cardiff I remember this case , it was heartbreaking , It shocked our city Thanks Emma for covering this case 👏👍❤️
A senseless and unprovoked attack on an innocent lad. Sending prayers to the victims family. Thanks for covering this case Emma.
Hi Emma

Brilliant. Can’t wait 👏😊👏🙂💚🇮🇪💐x
Emma, I absolutely adore you and your channel! I love how much passion you have for bringing lesser known cases to light ❤️ You have a beautiful soul, thank you for what you do!
In his own home where he should have been safe. His funeral turn out goes to show how loved he was. What a shame, poor lads life ended over something that had nothing to do with him, it's just so sad.
Such a sad story of a lovely young man,
My heart goes out to the family 💙
I’m so heartbroken for Aamir’s family. I’m the mom of a 20 year old son so this hits really close to home for me. I can’t imagine the pain they have and will endure.
If Aamir had not lost his life, the mistakes made by these two monsters would be hilarious. Total idiots !!!!
Great work , Emma.
Such a handsome young man. It's unbelievable how vicious those disgusting beings acted. Rest in peace. God bless you Aamir. God bless his poor family too
God help that monster who's still on the run if I ever see him...
I live 19 miles from Cardiff Emma, yet I haven't heard of this crime 🤔 Bloody awful. As usual, you did it justice, in your own, empathic, unique way 💜🥰 xx
No-one does true crime
videos like you Emma! Always sooooo detailed and on point - and the sarcasm is the best! What a horrific story today was 😭
The way you told this story Emma, utterly heartbreaking.
It’s so sad that great humans like that are taken so soon such a horrible way to go . And such a beautiful family . I hope he’s looking down and knows how loved he is and missed
This had me in tears. Wishing healing and peace upon Aamir’s family ❤️ Thank you for always covering these topics with such empathy and respect Emma. You do a great job
Your take on Caleb McGillvary would be an interesting watch
Also, of topic but I must say your cheekbones are amazing!
Oh my gosh! I bow to your incredible sarcasm Emma. I'd be surprised if these two guys still had a brain cell among them. What a set of soul crushing circumstances. My heart goes out to this family for loss of son.
What an absolutely heart wrenching case, such a terrible thing for those parents to endure. Thank you for handling this case with such grace and empathy.
I'm glad that he was so loved by his wonderful parents. He was a lovely young man.
I was in school with Aamir, he was such a nice, innocent kid. It was a small school so all different year groups mixed quite a lot with each other and I was a few years older. I remember telling him I got a job at a sweet shop in Cardiff and within about a week he came in to visit. I'm still filled with rage about what happened to him. Such a sweet kid.
My heart is broken, this case really hit me hard. I hope justice is served and that cretin is apprehended. My heart truly goes out to Aamir’s family, what a family they are… Something these evil ****s will never know - love and adoration.
This is one of the most heartbreaking cases I think you've covered. Every case is awful but knowing it is mistaken identity makes it even worse. The fact this young man lost his life, his parents lost their child and the people around them that were affected all because of getting the wrong person is so painful beyond belief.
There was a similar situation in Coventry a few years ago, a 15 year old lad was stabbed to death under mistaken identity. It shook the city to the core and we still think about it now. Just awful 😭
I really wish peace for his family. This is so tragic 😥
I appreciate that you covered a Pakistani family and that you cover various races. In the US, the press tends to cover White female murders
Yes the press are awful. I do like some US creators though like 10tolife (Annie Elise), Kendall Rae, & Stephanie harlowe. Mainstream media is a joke.
How heart breaking to try and protect your son and not being able to then only to find out that it was all meant for someone else is tragic 💔 amir lost his life but, in the mean time saved another's life ( this should be how he's seen a warrior an angel sent to save a life ) such a senseless act regardless tho, these 3 individuals should never see the light of day and they should have sent them all to the Indian jail after the sentencing cus u ain't getting no PlayStation in there 💙 uk prisons are to soft and uk sentencing is a joke I hope his family and friends see him as the brave amazing angel he really is and I hope in time they can learn to live with it because you never get over the loss of a child no amount of time heals those wounds that empty hole in your heart that noone or nothing can fill I hope you all learn to just cope ( it's what I've had to do just learn to cope ) good night rest in peace amir watch over your family and make them strong again x thanks Emma x
These two men, Richards and Hope look like they could be brothers…. Weird
Missed the live sorry was at work I’m a carer, great coverage yet again though so thank you x
"just because they were found guilty though doesn’t mean they’re guilty 🙂“ - the defence
Thank you Emma!
Bloody hell! I hadn't heard of this case. His poor parents having this play out infront of them and trying to save him. 😢there aren't enough words. ❤
This one's absolutely awful 😞 my heart aches for everyone who lost Aamir's presence in their lives. This should have never happened.
Thx for the information. I hope someone does the right thing and makes sure that the guy gets caught.
Could you cover the case of Jennifer Cronin ..son in law killed her 2018 ?
from cardiff. love seeing u do welsh cases ❤️
He can never run from his judgement..
I can't imagine how horrendous this was for Amir's parent and the fury I feel for the people harbouring the killers! Boils my blood!
Emma, please, please, please will you cover the recent case of Darrell Brooks. The case has had virtually no coverage on main stream media. Its completely outrageous that this mass murderer is unknown to most people.
Excellent as always
Some people should never walk our streets again. Not all can be rehabilitated, regardless of dependency issues. If you don't wanna overcome addiction, you won't. No matter how many courts issue edicts for you to get treatment. 🤬
Another heart breaking case.
I just love the way Emma tells the story its like I there i can see whats happening
Poor lad unfortunately we live in an evil world with very little goodness these days .he didn't deserve this In anyway I am sorry for him and his family 😔 much love to them ❤️
17 Year Old Michelle Stewart, Drogan, Scotland! Is stabbed to death by her ex-boyfriend in front of her friends! It's horrible!
With today's case, the photos alone are enough to give me the creeps!
Today I set my alarm in my mobile so that I wouldn't be 5 minutes late again this time. See you tonight, all you wonderful crime junkies!
Xo 🤗 😘
This is just so scary...not even safe in our own homes
It's not your home
Here we go.
AAMIR RIP 🙏 Love ❤ You
Just so you know i crochet to your vids :) xx love them
This house is still not lived in since the incident. I always drive past and think of this poor lad RIP
Thank you em. Stay safe everyone.
Hi Emma I love your channel its fantastic. I love your sarcasm lol.
More English judges need to learn from this 1 xx
Case presented well
This case is heartbreaking 💔
Thank you Emma xx
I remeneber this my home town 🥹 so very sad 😔
Poor Aamir may he rest in peace. Thenks Emma for doing this case so very sad, the guys that did this deserve whole life tariffs and not to be let back into society again.
This is terrible! I wonder how his family is doing?
Nice job judge!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
My god this hurt my heart so much. Poor sweet boy 💔
Usually people aren't extradited because they might face worse punishment. The UK needs confirmation on extradition to another country that the person in question won't face the death penalty for example. I cannot think of any reason India would feel a criminal might be harder done by in the UK courts than in Indian courts - capital punishment is still carried out in India.
Horrendous what happened to that poor boy and his family, they must live their lives with their hearts shattered 😢 so cruel ❤️
How horrific :-( rest in peace Aaman and his dad🕊️
27:09 “Violent not rights” all the awards Emma.
If he’s in prison in India, you can forget about justice. He could pay a small amount of money to the police and create the stupid narrative of escaping. They let him go. The corruption is disgusting, not just India obviously I’m talking about families who are still waiting for justice even though they have all the evidence.
Awful.... So hateful and brutal and senseless. 💔
New subscriber......videos every Sunday and Wednesday! Just like church lol love true crime glad I found the channel 🙌
This so sad ,
We need a "I Digress" tshirt!!
Hi Emma!! Choice video!!
This sounds interesting cnt wait xx 😘
Hello, first time here. Really enjoy your show.
Please do the Katherine Knight case in Australia 🇦🇺
Those killers are wastes of skin and air and I sincerely pray that Edge is caught soon. Drawn and quartered leaps to mind to and I don’t advocate for the death penalty.
Generally this is a good documentary, but I did note a few things that were a bit different from the original case reporting.
The thing about Hope's excuse about falling asleep alone might seem laughable, but there are a lot of drug addicts who nod off alone after using heroin, so it's not entirely implausible. I think what did it for both of them was the forensics, where DNA was found on the car steering wheel and seatbelts, Aamir's blood found in the abandoned car, plus of course the CCTV of them trying to buy tape and gloves, and Hope paying in cash for a brand new laptop that he then pawned. Put together with mobile phone records and text messages to and from the man who hired them, and it was overwhelming. Truly stupid behaviour by amateurs. I remember it took almost three years for them to stand trial and be convicted, because the first trial collapsed.
So yes, a good documentary, but I agree with someone below who criticised the somewhat comical presentation of some parts (the pop up mugshots and speech bubbles, and Emma's two way conversations are a bit juvenile for something so serious).
I have never heard of this case
What a sad story. As long as Edge has other criminals in his corner, he will continue to be able to elude the police. My condolences to this family. No matter how many years go by, the wound will never heal. They will feel this pain for the rest of their days. He should be married with babies of his own.
Good evening everyone 💖 hope you have all had a lovely day 💜💜
This is scary because it could happen to anyone. Mistaken identity just awful x
Haven’t heard of this one look forward to it can you cover the Stephen Lawerence case pls
Ms. Emma,
Would you please explain again what "Bang to Rights" means? I have forgotten; thus, I believe I'm missing out on a piece of the content of the stories where you use this term.
Would very much appreciate it.
Marvelous Fan Susan
I live in South wales, and never heard of this case.
Mae'n ddrwg gen i fod hyn wedi digwydd i chi, mae'n ddrwg gen i i'r teulu sy'n gorfod byw gyda'r drasiedi hon, ac i'r dioddefwr, gorffwyswch yn hawdd 🙏
