    Mad props. Incredible that he continues to stay relevant in an age of HUD’s, EV, Range and Optimum Game Theory “experts” vying to run the way today’s poker is played.

      He just takes those NLH wizards, gets them in Bobby's Room, Jack's the stakes up to like 3-6k & then plays like 11 other games as well as NLH. That'll fix their wagon!

    Navy Seals and Top Gun fighters alike salute you Doyle for your grand legacy doing battle in the poker ring with Emersonian self-reliance and Special Forces warrior instinct, distinguished class, first-class professionalism, honesty of the highest order, and Texas dusty long-road grit. You are a true "road scholar" in pursuing truth in search of poker excellence like a Texas beagle picking up the scent in the pursuit as well as building the game to international bridges of friendship and bonds between people around the world.
    From the smokey back rooms of Texas poker games of old, you brought the game to the leading edge of game theory and computer analytics. Doyle, rest in peace in the halls of poker Valhalla with your fellow poker brother in arms like poker legend Chip Reese. You highlighted, in your "road scholar" journey, how the truth can set us all free not just in the poker realm in the big game at Bobby's, but sublimely more importantly in the bigger poker game of life.
    For a poker legend of your grand influence, you deserve a WSOP poker ring attached to your coffin much as is done in Navy Seal tradition at a funeral. You promoted truth and friendship for all around the world with the game of poker as the bridge of convergence. In the end, truth and love prevail amidst the drama and challenges of the beautiful game of poker and in the big poker game of life.
    The heart-wrenching sight of a flag-draped coffin is a solemn reminder of the sacrifice that brave men make every day to protect our country. But what is the significance behind the Navy SEALs slamming a metal insignia on the fallen soldier’s coffin? This action is a final tribute to the fallen service member and a show of respect to the fallen soldier’s family. It is a sign of honor, of appreciation, and of love that is paid to the fallen service member. It is an action that speaks to the commitment and sacrifice of our servicemen, and a symbol of the respect that the Navy SEALs have for their fallen comrade.

    I can barely last 30 mins at the table some sessions. 48hrs sober, is impressive. Never thought I could play 24hrs until I first went to Vegas!

    Too bad Doyle didn't run with the Publishing Company. He could have produced so many charts, graphs and stories. I think we lost out as a poker community.

    So doyle is cool with edge sorting?

    • @greggarcia3226
      @greggarcia3226 3 роки тому +3

      Of course. It’s not cheating. The casino cheats everyday (over serving, oxygen in the air, shills etc.) and when they lose fair and square they don’t want to pay. Ridiculous.

    • @petermitchell4523
      @petermitchell4523 3 роки тому

      Edge sorting against other players at poker table?

    • @greggarcia3226
      @greggarcia3226 3 роки тому +1

      It's baccarat. It's against the house. Same with poker though. Though a more heated debate. Edge sorting is where you notice a defect in the cards that identifies them. The provides the cards. It's their responsibility to make sure everything is on the up & up. When they have an edge on you they don't have any moral issues with it.

    • @petermitchell4523
      @petermitchell4523 3 роки тому +1

      My point is I dont believe ivey would cheat against the house but not against other players.....I have played poker for money many times and didnt even know some cards have defects like that.

    • @greggarcia3226
      @greggarcia3226 3 роки тому +1

      It is definitely a gray area. You have to be aware at all times. They're have been instances like this in poker. Most say they would notify the floor, but I wouldn't believe that either. What they say on camera and actually do are 2 different things.
