played the match up so well, and i like the similarity to malphite you brought up, definitely can see it when played this way.
looks like skarner's waveclear is tough, but it's hard to proxy and get spacing for W on the opponent at the same time.
his mana also looks pretty brutal, maybe manaflow band needs another mana item in the build for value? otherwise PoM may be better iunno

I feel like fimbulwinter would be good in a lot of situations because it solves the mana issue and you have so many ways to proc the shield
It would make shield bash/revitalize more optimal as well.
This reminds me a bit of season 4-5 Sion Top when you could bully range matchups with E max before it was nerfed. Absolutely beautiful seeing ranged top abuser get dumped on by the champ they want to bully out of lane.

You should do a "Raid boss skarner" where you go tank but buy heartsteel and elixir of iron and terrorize the enemy team
