Just depends on what's inside these were new cabinets that are. Uv coated so orange works well. Shurtape. From Sherwin Williams but I hear. Frog tape purchase them. So now it's gonna be frogtape
It's a product that was originally designed for exotic woods for a sealer some woods are very oily and need special features for adhesion but can be used also to lock down contamination or just for good adhesion.
Not on every stain job this job was Doug fir and has issues leaching pitch. So we needed something to seal and make sure really good adhesion this will also take care of some other exotic woods
@@dennisrodriguez9700 ...Yeah, looks really nice. Love the rich color. I’ve worked with a lot of Doug Fir and SYP, I’m not proud of that! 😉 Soft wood can be pretty demanding.
Great tips
Thank you Dennis! Appreciate you sharing!
Thank you so much for going over your masking process. You are very generous with your knowledge and time. Keep killin' it man.
What isolater product you use.
Great vid on how you plastic. I have never used the orange to move the plastic back from the face frame, but now I am going to!
Gonna have to try the orange tape! Do you put the strion of blue on the inside edge first so it doesn't pull off the inside cabinet coating/paper etc?

Do you use those long extension poles to hang up plastic floor to ceiling? Thanks for the vid dude
Yes we have about 9 poles different lengths. And truly makes huge difference for walls
I’m abit confused.
Firstly you will spray primer and sand it ? Or just right after priming you spray the topcoat?
Is the Shurtape orange more or less sticky than the 3M 2020 tape?
Better tack and more rigid. Easier to handle and also can handle heat where it's not all messed up pealing in pieces
Dennis do you use clear isolatetor on stain grade jobs, and if so what are you currently using. Thanks

What tool do you use for scribing the hinge location?
A razor knife works great
@@dennisrodriguez9700 ... Thanks! I tried a scratch awl and it left too noticeable a mark.
Hope you have an opportunity to show the finished product. I’m always interested in seeing how people handle Doug Fir.
