I can fully under stand at this time in my life what Dr. Zacharias was saying. I only wish he had been around, with his current knowledge base back in the late 60's and 70's. I went through the basic concepts this young man is currently going through. I was born and raised Pentecostal, and turned to atheism just to get a handle on something. But, as the word says, in the fullness of time He revealed Himself to me through the person of the Holy Spirit, and opened my eyes and understanding as to who and what Jesus Christ was. He led me to the cross where I finally came to Jesus as my Lord and Savior.

Ravi is a very wise man his wisdom just cuts through all nonsense intelligence is nothing without wisdom to guide it.
What a humble man. Not apologizing for the truth, but willing to admit when he might have been a little out character or even rude to this young man about shaking his head in disagreement while ravi was speaking. I have been a pastor for 10 years and I often reflect on this exchange of dialogue. When someone who is speaking the truth in love says something that he feels might have been rude or condescending he recognizes it and makes it right purely out of humility. He could have just left it on the table, but he chose however to apply James 4:7. What Ravi did was probably not rude or off base in the least, but he felt that it was and made it known to this young man that he was sorry. What a wise man Ravi zacharias was; not just head knowledge, but heart knowledge that would perhaps help this young man find JESUS THE CHRIST.

i don't understand how people don't come to this conclusion on their own with a little thought. i feel like its quite obvious. you don't have to read kant to know there are problems with determinism.
Men of the greatest intellect cannot understand the mysteries of Jehovah as revealed in nature. Divine inspiration asks many questions which the most profound scholar cannot answer. These questions were not asked that we might answer them, but to call our attention to the deep mysteries of God and to teach us that our wisdom is limited; that in the surroundings of our daily life there are many things beyond the comprehension of finite beings.
