There was a story about mountain goats. The park service i think in WA or OR had to move them because they were drawn to human urine. The salt or something in the urine attracted them. So yea dont pee near your camp.
Goats are very intelligent, and physical. Throwing rocks isn't very impressive to them. Throwing the goat to the ground is - but I don't recommend it with that type. - especially when you are alone. Even domesticated goats will try you on for size unless you physically dominate them. They were curious, for sure. Probably been fed by others. A few years ago, here in Washington, there was a man who was gored by one. Got him in the femoral artery. He never stood a chance many miles from help. Park service removed them but there are still a few up in the Olympics. These are not a cudley or friendly kind of goat, and as can be seen, are built like WWF bouncers. Bear spray is not just for bears.
Hey, just found your channel. Cool stuff man, I just moved out here from VA. Backpacked there, excited to get out into the wilderness here as well.
Very cool! Thanks for the comment and have fun out there:)
Lmao!! Those chipmunk are cute but they can chew holes in your stuff.
Those goats are definitely not liking your presence hahaha
lol, it was a cool trip, but constant work due to the critters
Living on the Gulf Coast, I've never had goat problems. Only mad bucks in the rut. Beautiful views though, thanks for sharing them
Thank you
Good to hear from you again Scott. Crazy goats. They were pretty aggressive. Beautiful area. Take care and have a great day.
Thanks, Brother :)

You need to pack a fishing pole and hit those lakes. Cool video bro👍
Yes, sir :)
I hiked your country each summer for 20 years, but those days are gone. Enjoy each moment while you can.

You are so right, and I learned this after this trip… they need the salts and are attracted to it.
This is true. Perhaps, just incrementally pee farther from your camp in effectively luring this guy away?
Stunning location and interesting goats. 🐐🐐. ATB Martin
Thanks, brother :)
I remember this one..
I kept getting asked about, so I cut out 8 minutes of crap and took out all the saturation. Hope you are doing well, Max.
Beautiful scenery, with a bit of excitement thrown in lol
Thank you very much :)
They crave salt. Pee has salt in it.
That’s crazy with the goats. Amazing spot
Thanks, dude.
It was an experience for sure... fun to look back on but stressful at the time :)
Liking the channel 👌
Thank you!
