He's squarely in it for the money. He clearly has a lot of money to throw around too. Never trust these people. I'm sure most of his investment advice comes from trying to inflate his own collection. Plus he's constantly plugging his products and exploiting these badahh jits!! Ofc you’d feed into it tho
🔥🔥🔥🔥 good old Fenway one of the best stadiums to ever watch a ballgame at... Plus Boston being a sports town we have some of the best memorabilia here as well as some of the best cards around especially everyone has a beautiful Tom Brady or Larry Bird piece over here
At least you recognize the kids because a lot of the hobby forgot about them long ago.

What a great show! I can’t believe it jeff. My son and I were in the video right behind you and I didn’t even notice you. Anyway my son got his first vintage card at the dealer you highlighted. He negotiated for a 1960 Sandy Koufax. Great content.

I liked seeing you buy the cards from the kid. It builds such confidence in kids to see they can make things happen starting at a young age and as cliché as it is, they are the future of the hobby and life in general. 😀👍🏼

Psyched! Just found out there is a card show at the local mall every third Saturday in Roanoke VA in my area
Geoff, based on everything you’ve recommended to pick up or invest in, there has been significant losses in value next to some cards that have stayed above water. So that regardless of holding, which your average person cannot, in 5 years those cards will only be attempting to get back to the level at which they were, then another 5 to see any profit from the level. I think going back 11-18 months in your videos and finding the biggest card deals, you should do an analysis on where each of those are at right now. Not where they could be, at this moment currently. I think this type of honesty would help the community a lot more than staying positive for positive sake. I think laying it all out with your costs, your profits/losses, and your views on those cards would be very beneficial to everybody

Good grief, the Red Heart is far from rare ( actually pretty common) and did not come IN dog food. You sent in can labels for a player set of which color you wanted. ( red, blue of green).The Dan Dee is certainly more desirable, but not rare.

True. Rare stuff is rarely ever seen on the market. Most of the stuff I consider rare is often one-of-a-kind items. To me, these are items like original photos and sporting event tickets.
Sports Card Investor is not well versed in cards. His UA-cam stuff is bathroom material
@@johnnyv1938 He means well, but yeah, he's not very educated. This is also likely why we rarely see him post any videos about vintage cards. It seems he's just not into the vintage stuff very much.
What do you consider rare? The Dan Dee seems pretty rare to me

Geoff I need help. I just pulled a Holo Anthony Edwards Signature Series card from my Optic Blaster Box from Walmart. I'm just not sure if I should send it in for grading? The signature seems cut off at the " A" so I'm not sure if it's an error? Can I email you a photo of the card?

I’m offended by the dude acting like the Mantle Red Heart is some super rare card you’ve never seen before. Completely understand it’s valuable and rightfully so, but I see that card all the time at shows
@Ozsportscard 2 I said offended half joking, but I found it funny that he said it’s a super rare card like something he’s never seen before. I know he travels to many shows has to see this card all the time.
I would use the company AGS to grade these cards!

Card vault is sus with their PSA group submissions I heard. They send their cards to someone in NH then sends them to PSA. Card Vault doesn’t send to PSA themselves, again, so I hear.

Steiner sports want 100,00000 for regular cards. LOL! I guess you don't have to buy them.
As always.... Major PROPS on the segment with the kids Brother..... Without future collectors, the hobby is all but doomed anyway... And unfortunately kids are the 1st ones priced completely out of the hobby .... It's SAD !

Go to a card show and buy nothing?
Also don't check out the card vault they are rip-offs and the customer service is trash at least the one at Gillette stadium is.. I don't know who that guy was but if he is a high up I don't know who that guy was but if he's a manager or an owner or whatever he needs to go to that store in Gillette and really start looking at the people that are working there cuz they are terrible and again they have vultures lol trying to sell me mega/hobby boxes for almost 50-$100 more than what I can grab them for off of online card shops or just going to Target or Walmart myself. And not to mention they grade your cards for you but they're not very helpful about the process nor did they handle my cards properly
I would have went with my son so we could see all the overpriced cards at the card show. Plus see all the scalpers asking an arm and leg for boxes they got at Target and Walmart. This is why cards are overpriced because of athletes and celebrities overpaying for them.
It’s all about the memories.
Got to be rich to pull nothing most people collect for the hobby pulling a life changing card out of retail u have better chance getting hit by a train but people suck
