Come Dine With Me takes people who are experts in the art of giving the perfect dinner party and puts their skills to the test. All are great cooks and excellent hosts - but they're all very different. So, if one person's perfect dinner party is another person's evening from hell, how will our hosts cope with a whole week of each other's hospitality?
Each night for a week, one of our hosts will throw a dinner party for the others. They all have their own unique styles of cooking and entertaining, but they're all determined to impress, because at the end of each evening, the guests will give their host a mark out of ten. The host with the most points at the end of the week wins £1,000 pounds. Come Dine With Me has expanded to a variety of formats including singles, couples and celebrity specials!

Paula is such an amazing human being
Yeah, She’s made a lot of money off it
nah she bit freaky
@@Redfoxx-pg7km Charity Foodbank Organiser obviously pays very well, that's a million dollar plus house she lives in right there....
@@danfrost3043 I'ts not her house. It was rented by the production company as this was shot during covid restrictions. Nice house though!
This woman is so caring. She's the type to give the clothes off her back for you
The fact they were reluctant to eat the soup just because the bread used in it was stale honestly speaks volumes both about them and about their culinary horizons. Stale bread is used as an ingredient in various dishes around the world, as a way to use up leftovers. Stale doesn’t automatically mean spoiled.
Right? Haven’t they ever had croutons or bread pudding lol
@@tozzilil exactly, or even just things like breadcrumbs, which are used very widely
Exactly, some recipes specifically call for stale bread/bun to be added for various reasons.
The Mediterranean regions will actually just bake their stale bread with some water and make it ‘fresh’ again.
If the idea of eating “stale” foods upsets them they shouldn’t ask questions about food if they go to east Asia.
Not everyone is OK with eating stale food. I for one am not interested in eating stale food
This was the most politest come dine with me I’ve ever seen 😩
Just politest, not most politest 😊
@@LetMeDoItForYouKermit get in the bin
Most polite, or you can just say politest
The level of respect Paula has for her guests and her humour is outstanding! She's the type of person you want to have in your life!
In the thumbnail, it looks like she is crying from all that onion. 😭
This was Iconic. This women is a national treasure .
no she is not
Moments after explaining to Cat Lady that water comes from a tap - 'I'm going to explain where the food comes from last so that it doesn't prejudice the feedback.' umm lol
Why is it giving serial killer energy
CAN come from a tap.
last time i was this early, paula’s food was in date
🤣🤣🤣🤣
As someone whose cooking goes wrong 70% of the time, I totally relate Paula
What a gorgeous home!
it's rented out by the production company as this was filmed during some lockdown restrictions.
@@kek23k still a very lovely house
@@reganbrannigan3006 Yeah but it's rented out by the production company as this was filmed during some lockdown restrictions.
(Sorry I couldn't resist)

Oh, Paula, I hope you come here and read these, though I doubt you do! You are an amazing person, simply amazing, and if we had more of you, we would not be in such dire staits today. Keep being you, the world needs more you!
I really love Paula, when she cried I felt so bad... You did well hun ❤️❤️❤️
Thing is they r all complaining and worried about where the food came from but like a best before date doesnt mean u cant eat something. Its just a recommendation to eat it before that date. Obviously if its aj out of date lable or a dairy product then dont eat it but food such as veg can sit on shelves for months befoee being bagged up.If its a few day after its best before but still looks ok to eat then u can eat it
As a pensioner I live on mostly reduced sell by food 79 still going strong the meat and veg are just fine
I love her ! Would totally go for some drinks with her
I relate to Paula so much!!!!! Lol. It’s hard being so sensitive when you do care so much. Bless her soul.
Thats why chefs know that the customer isnt always right. The 3 guests she served are really ignorant and closed minded towards food... still she did dress the table in a way that made them think of bins.
How are these people alive, they are so precious
Those vegan burgers didn't even look that burnt to me... she could have just served them like that rather than half a burger each. The veg looked fine too.
It was because she cut them with a knife that touched beef. Not because it was burnt.
@@tarachristie933 It was originally because she’d ‘burnt’ the burgers, so she used the knife she’d cut the beef with to just slice the burnt tops off 2 of the 3 burgers - & then realised what she’d done. Op is saying the burgers didn’t even look burnt, & I agree, they didn’t, but it is a cooking competition so they’d probably pick up on it!
I’d of still fed them it
They’d never of known
I eat bread as long as there’s no mold 😂😂😂
She better have won, just for her personality alone.
She’s so precious🥺
Food is fine out of date
I don’t know why they complained about the food so much 😂
Put long hair back when cooking and serving! Nothing worse than hair in your food 😝
Oh I can think of worse, Leona - but I take your point 😆💟
& the sweaty fringe stuck to the forehead sweep the hair back into a bun
I like this group. Rod is my favorite.
CAN WE ALSO PROTECT PAULA 😭😭😭
The thumbnail 😭😭😭😭
Pure distress
Poor thing
I think frozen vegan/vegetarian food is designed to be as appealing as possible to their newly plant based customers, less health conscious plant based customers, or even omnivores who just want to eat less meat. That's why they make the tofu, seitan, or tempeh look and taste sort of like meat. Not all vegetarians eat that stuff, just like how not all omnivores eat processed foods.
Do they honestly think meat comes off the animals they slaughter like that?! They made THEIR meal resemble something it’s not m, only difference is ours doesn’t have cruelty
@@hanspz5505 ehh..no you dont seem to understand nothing on farm agriculture around vegan grown food is destroys much more
@@KillerGothChick also this is a bit beyond your capacity but once we’ve saved 70% of land used for animal agriculture we can sort out the harm coming from agriculture after we’ve eradicated the biggest part aka animal ag… it’s really not rocket science.
@@hanspz5505 You know, I live in Scotland. A lot of the land in the Highlands that is used for animal agriculture cannot be used for farmland...
@@stoobie94 you’re telling me you can’t get enough land for plants hahahaha
aww bless. that woman seemed like such a lovely person.
"Did she get it out the drain" what tf
Some of the best dishes in the world are made from the most poor people due to em having least ingredients and making do with what they can. I seriously have tasted outta 5 dishes 3 that's sorta poor meals and the top spot is definitely one of em
I love how everyone is talking about the knife, when to me the worst part is she let the burgers marinate in the beef juice when she used the same cutting board. Oops. She is a sweet lady though.
Paula's a love...
I have been living on sell by date food that is marked down for a few years now it is fine!
Burgers are just shaped like disks.
I would probably buy soy in different color lumps.
Multi colored cubes of tofu? Sounds more appetizing than beef
Is there a way I can watch full episodes in the US? I can only find some on UA-cam.
I believe they have a few seasons of the show on UK Netflix. If you used a VPN to fool it into thinking you are watching in the UK then you could access the UK version of Netflix.
@@DragonsTooth - Thank you so much!
Paula - an absolute treasure ❤️
His suit is on point!
the comment about vegan faux meat shapes is kinda interesting. it would be cool if they made it into fun shapes like stars or hearts lol.
These guests are awful... Poor Paula. Such snobs.
Meat eaters don't eat meat because it looks like an animal! 😆 Steak, hotdogs, burgers, chicken soap, meatloaf... not exactly 'animal' shaped, are they??
If they were, no doubt more people would be vegetarian!
@@joc1178 wow, I never knew that! 🙄 ...what's your point? I'm saying if meat looked more like parts of an animal, people would be be less inclined to eat meat, they'd be reminded of what it really was.
Honey we eat pig head(snout and ears), sheep head, cow head, cow heart, kidneys, intestines, lungs, chicken feet and heads, pig, cow, sheep trotters, necks, shins, whole fish, fish heads and eyes and brains etc etc. Most of us eat meat and we quite happy with how it looks
@@Bestme78 you completely and utterly missed the point.😆Honey.
@@JohnDoe-tx8lq absolutely did not miss the point. U said meat eaters eat meat that doesnt look like the animal. You reirrated that point to another commenter. Hence my reply that im a meat eater who has no problem eating animals inlcuding thei faces. They can stare at me and i will stare right back at them.
This is what always gets me,like what is the purpose of making the food meat like ,just make your own thing with the exception of burgers and sandwiches why make something like vegan chicken or shape carrots like hotdogs 🤣
the reason vegans eat mock-meat products is because it is hard for people who have not grown up vegan or vegetarian to not crave the paste and texture of meet/fish/seafood
Well played. I'd be fuming if I went on this show and I was was given three vegans!
Me too!
Paula is amazing
Acquatacotta ACTUALLY means 'cooked water' as a literal translation to English....
I need Paula as my friend pls!!
Hassan is gorgeous.
Shame it didn't go to plan, but definitely top scores for effort.
Only Vegan using the same knife won't hurt anyone so font know why she panicked
Well I’m sorry but people need to get over them selves
Never been this early lol
She is very precious
What a beautiful and sweet woman
*She’s so sweet!* ❤❤
You use day old bread to make crutons
What a lovely woman Paula is an absolute breath of fresh air
Some English are really bad cooks. The roast has no gravey. And the gravey is made from broth from the veg and from the meat juices. Add red wine and garlic/herbs to be fancy.
Honestly she was REALLY respectful with the vegan guests. She just touched the burgers with a knife that had a bit of juice in it, she didn't put ANY meat on their food, so it was a real honest mistake and she was a delight dealing with the mistake. Many others might have send it out just like that.
....
moist !
I can be fussy when it comes to food, but not sure how boiled tap water could be off putting to anyone!?!
It’s not your fault Paula
It’s the ridiculous decision to be vegan that’s in the wrong
That's the wrong Board for Cooked Meat
food bank director and size of that house shocking
They're all too nice, it's boring.
That won’t a bad looking plate to be honest
What a wonderful woman
The computer says no
italian peasant broth 😂
Bless her cotton socks
what a massive table
They seem nice people
I’ve had to go to a food bank
MOIST!!! LOVE IT
Wait who won
Lol so me
With that house she didn’t need the grand anyway
It’s not her house.
Charity directors houses are always so expensive they all skim off the top
You realise this isn't her house, right...? The show picked the location.
I thought they always used peoples real homes?
@@juliegrace8473 no no not always, especially since the pandemic.
@@juliegrace8473 You can see that they are also sitting quite far from each other...
I would have just served the full vegan burger anyway I mean who cares what the vegans don’t know won’t hurt them.
For a charity food bank manager, she sure does have a big house... wonder how...
Once lockdown was over,Come Dine With Me supplied houses for the contestants to use during the week. They were quarantined during filming.
I'm the director of a charity who obviously gobbles up all the profits in wages disgusting.
If you’re referring to the house, it’s not hers. It was rented by production for social distancing purposes during the pandemic.
Disgusting
Ugh....its not like they're gonna die if they taste a bit of meat or at least just the meat juice. Vegans.... Feel sorry for the woman with such a kind heart.
Shut up, Joseph.
if you're vegan/veggie, you don't eat meat.. please never become a chef cos you'd be a terrible one
She’d probably eat her own vomit
Clap clap 👏 seriously?
What? Do you eat your own? Like what kind a statement is that?
No. I really wouldn't. Thanks for stopping by 😘
