Nice with the triangle of Tastee cheese! I learnt to make these in Home Ec. class and it was the only thing my mother would allow me to make in her kitchen😂😂😂.
@@heysimmone they are different from scones. We call them rock cakes rather than rock buns. Ingredients are flour, butter, sugar, dried fruit, egg & milk.
I used to make this in high school. When I became a mom It was normally a tradition to make it for my my little one. The babysitter, was feasting on it instead of giving my child the bun and tell me how good the rock bun is! Imagine! 😂 😝
Blessings on you and your family, love your videos, very easy and looks tasty....love how you take time to explain..thanks ...Nuff Love💯Greetings from Barbados.
I love this. It's my husband's favorite. I made some on Monday and had one with my coffee on Tuesday morning. Can you tell me why you added the lime zest - have never seen it done this way? Might have to try it. Thanks Morris!

@@triciatoughIt's crazy how the name deviates across the Caribbean. I know exactly what you're talking about; in other islands what you would call coconut drops ( without flour) is known as sugar cake. Both great recipes

@kerlene1986 OK. In T&T, you call it drops, but in Jamaica, coconut drops is just chopped up coconut with caramelized sugar. Same for peanut drops.
