All your videos are great, im slowly starting a homelab so its great to go through your videos to fins whats the best value to then go through places like marketplace to get a steal. Thanks guys
good video :) But see that you suggest 6142 this has 150w TDP I chose this myself but switched to 6140 since Dell warns that the R440 does not support more than 140W TDP. Is only a newer motherboard with its own serial number that supports 150W TDP. This also applies to the entire high end 4200 series as you mentioned excerpt from the manual ((PowerEdge R440 with system board part number 4JN2K can support up to 150 W TPD processors (6252, 6428, 6242, and 6240). System boards with previous version part numbers can only support up to 140 W TDP.))
Thanks for sharing. I have a DELL R440 server with Bronze 3204 installed. I want to install 2nd CPU. May I know whether it supports mixed CPU combo like 3204 + 6130? Or I need to install 2 same CPUs?

@@cloudninjasHm. After watching this video, I immediately bought 2 pieces of Intel Xeon Gold 6248R processor with a TDP of 205W. What should I do now?
Awesome premier!
Much appreciated!
Some of these are 205w TDP. What's the highest TDP the R440 can support?
