Sodalite and Obsidian Knife handles

I wanted to show some of the process of how I created stone handles for two knives. I didn't do the metal work, just the stone work.
I have never done finger grooves OR duel material for a handle before, so, it was a challenge on my end.

Really nicely shaped! I see so many people leave thick, boxy, poorly shaped handles. I think JB Weld can discolor yellow and the makers I know swear by West Systems G Flex. Adding G10 liner from somewhere Alpha Knife would also help with adhesion and strength. You are a man of many talents and did a phenomenal job! I would have liked the on e with Obsidian if it would have been silver sheen... I LOVE sodalite... but I would not pair it with green. Personal preference and of course you did a WONDERFUL job!. This is why we are all great artisans... we all have different visions!

You could've put like a strip of copper or something in between the break. Would've looked sick and removed the imperfection
