These knives weren't neglected, they were simply used. Its nice to see Kyle give them the maintenance they deserve and give them another 50 years of service. Merry Christmas boys.

I think that it says a lot about puma as a brand and company that you take the time to look at video on one of your products.

Puma company still exists, many former famous companies disdappeared.. Perhaps Hubertus also still exists. Eickhorn also still exists, and WKC is last sword producing company.

As I understand the green verdigris is a combination of the chemicals used in Tanning process, Sodium Nitrate and Tannin and its reaction on the brass. At least it is easy to remove. Beautiful restoration, Puma are a well built knife. I think I have one somewhere. No snow in Ontario yet, just cold!

Really great video, what are the products you used to replenish the sheaths of both knives ? They both look so great after you worked on them.

Good workmanship on your part. Yes Puma does mantai their designs and this is refreshingly nice to enjoy traditionally in an industry which is evolving so fast. Another good example of a knife which has retained it's design is the Randall hunter.
Would be even nicer if rhere was a scaled doun version of the Puma White Hunter.

My father had a puma when I was a child, a little skinning knife. I will have to ask him if he still has it.

    Noseworthy origin name:
This is an Olde English locational name which means "The dweller at the farm (word) on the neck of land (nos or nes)". The date is pre 7th Century and it is possible that a place called 'Noseworthy' existed, but if so, the location now appears to be lost, or the spelling is corrupted from Northey. The dweller at the North Farm, the Noseworthy, all the original recordings were from Wiltshire, where the normal ending of "worth" is often transposed to "worthy" - although the meaning remains the same. In 1730, One Joseph Nosworthy, a Carpenter, married Elizabeth Pomfett, at St. Georges Church, Hanover Square, London. The first recorded spelling of the family name is shown to be that of Walter Noswuth. which was dated 1273, The Pipe Rolls of Wiltshire. during the reign of King Edward I, The Hammer of the Scots, 1272 - 1307. Surnames became necessary when governments introduced personal taxation. In England this was known as Poll Tax. Throughout the centuries, surnames in every country have continued to "develop" often leading to astonishing variants of the original spelling.
