Name a good one from back in the day. I’ll see if it’s there and get by to make a video. Finding them online is harder than it seems. Going to have to be a word of mouth for me to start finding them
Thanks man, I’m taking constructive criticism since I’m new to reviews. Want to get this series down good so any suggestions or comments are appreciated
Overall rating? There was a old truck stop west of Fort Worth back in the 80's since then it was demolished. But had the best chili cheeseburgers in Texas. My neighbor who was a truckdriver would let me tag along on summer breaks with him. He had a miller light run from Rio Grande City to Fort Worth three times a week. He let me drive his 1983 Pete with 13 speed transmission. Great times.
I thought you were going to say the Bar B truck stop, which is on my radar to review! That’s an awesome story. Love hearing stuff like that from back in the day. As far as overall rating. I’m not sure how to go about that one. I don’t want to hurt any reputations, since old school ones are already a dying breed. But I will say after I thought about it after, I def would go again. When I recorded my end statement it was in the moment. And my first time doing this. So I got to work out my kinks in reviewing and come up with a script that I do the same for each one I visit. But would recommend this one if passing through. Screw corporate truck stops.
@@CruzTube naw bud, you did good. Keep em coming. Those old school truck stops I loved hearing old stories and the drivers drinking black coffee and smoking cigarettes. Memories can never be changed. Safe travels partner.. when you get to the Rio grande valley let me know, we go hit a couple of tacos stands
First of many man, this was the first one I’ve been in and it sure beats the typical corporate truck stops. After I thought about it I def would stop here more often. Didn’t think so In the moment when I recorded my questions at the end. But once I had to deal with loves bs or flying J, that’s when I realized this one wasn’t so bad.
I pay with efs card and I didn’t bother checking if i was getting a discount or not. Since I knew I was going to fill up for the purpose of this video and to support a non corporate truck stop. Thanks for the suggestion , I’ll try to see if it’s an option for a future truck stop video.
I haven't been in a good one since the 1990's, old or new. They make me appreciate getting home every night.

That’s what I’m talking about! Thanks for the info. Putting it on my list now to try to get by.
Good footage man a good ole truck stop hard to find, that one’s a little rough.

The original truck stop has been there for years. This is the remodeled version.

Nice review. I really hate bathrooms that only have the air dryer and no paper towels! Any fuel discounts there? (Mudflap, EFS, Comdata, etc)?
