Wow! 😮 you read my mind? I just finished watching your recent video about the Low Cut button, and now this 😅! Thank you. I appreciate the way you share your experience and knowledge.
You can also use the HPF like an crossover for your tops ,if you want use separate volume control for your subs. Use two xlr channel inputs ,one for tops wich will send the line audio signal above 80hz,and one for the subs with HPF off . Also for subs output you can use AUX,or GROUPS . You are welcome :)
Hi brother, Thank you for explaining about mixing console. My doubts are what to do If too much gain with PAD switch on. My yamaha mixer gives too much gain even the gain is zero and pad switch on. Can you help me with this?
I do want to eventually get the 12 channel Mackie and Yamaha consoles, but I probably have another 3 months of backlogged videos that I need to finish first. There may be a chance that these videos "jump the cue" but I wouldn't count on it.
@@kettnercreative I just bought a 12 channel Mackie pro mixer really having a hard time to understand that I have seen other people's review but they are very complicated the one you always explain is very simple and easy way so it's all right whenever you get a free time I'm waiting for it the problem that I have with that makes her is I try to hook up the microphones then I try to hook up all the keyboards and guitar and I doesn't get sound at all and I try to use that mixer for a live streaming also it's given me such a hard time right now so I'm in a point right now where that should I just return that or should I just skip it
Hi Kettner, I really enjoy your very informative videos! Thank you for producing them. Question: I have a Yamaha MG10XU and do solo shows of just me where I sing with backing tracks that are played from my laptop using iTunes. I have my mic plugged into channel 1. From my laptop, I use the 3.5mm headphone jack and run a cable with a 3.5mm TRS on one end that splits to two 1/4" TS jacks on the other end which I plug into jacks 9 & 10 on the mixer. For output, I run an XLR cable from the right XLR output on the mixer to the 1/4" TRS input jack on a Bose L1 Compact. Based on your expertise, does this seem like the optimal setup for me? Thanks.
Hi, I have this mixer that I often use on stage, vocals and guitar mainly. Do you advise me to use the filter for both the voice and the acoustic guitar that enters the mixer with a d.i box? And also the compressors slightly? Thank you.
WOW.... my mind is blown... all this time i didn't know what the button was for until now that you explain it well. THANK YOU
Great explanations. Now im addicted to your channel.
thank you so much, i'm a complete novice and I hope to improve a lot thanks to your videos!

They're essentially the same thing, but sometimes it's good to cover a topic from different angles. Glad you found it helpful.

Hi...i am using yamaha mg20xu...help me to get inbuild effect in aux out...
Unfortunately you cannot put FX into the aux for the MG20XU. You'd have to upgrade to something like the TF-1 if you want that.
Thanks u bro...
bruhhh...
Yes?
@@kettnercreative Bruhhhh, what is it?
