A very pleasant interlude on the lake. Excellent video work Norm. You're becoming quite professional with it. You would have given the Leyland brothers a run for their money.
Yeah Phil, Mike and Mal have a lot to answer for. It's a great hobby and when I look back over some of my old vids it's a bit scary. Thanks for the kind words mate.
@@MotorSailingforOldDudes as you have seen there are plenty of sheltered spots on her shore line, the easterly side is terrible in a southerly,or actually travelling on.
Yeah, Some great people contacting me along the coast. Love it. and mate you know I like a chat. Was a little socially excited after that evening Be back up there soon dude.
G'day Norm, Enjoy your blogs. Especially the way you show river/ bar entrances, picking up the different leads, etc. We will be looking to move from our sailing cat to a power cat in a couple of years. I am searching for vessels like yours which enable a motor sail. Got to get a bit of a sailing fix Not much out there. Also, something that the mast can be dropped to get under bridges, reasonably easily. How is your mast drop/raising system? Cheers.
Thanks David Yeah it is a bit hard to find a true motor sailing cat, but the concept is great for the coast. My mast is pretty well stay up, but it would be good to have a stick that you could drop (easily) to get under bridges. Cheers Dude
Hi Norm Enjoyed the video You probably know but at times the audio has a loud buzzing noise eg at 18:46 may be just my laptop ??? Also do you have a public Facebook page ?? Cheers Tim
Well Norm, that was another very nicely produced posting that clearly shows how relaxing a cruisers life can be.
Yep Edward,
I sometimes pinch myself. It is the best lifestyle. Lots of freedom.
Cheers mate. (Dude)

Thanks again Norm really enjoy these extended productions with all the info on moorings etc, taking notes so when I go the "Blue Nomad."
It's the way to go Dudes. Great trip even though the weather was a bit gloomy.

That was brilliant, the lake can sure be a lovely place when she’s at peace and bloody awful with the southerly blow, cheers for the adventure.
Thanks Dudes
