Both my Kores belts are one of the best gun products I ever bought. I beleive they r well over 5 years old and still use them to carry every day, they still work great. Gave my other gun belts away years ago.
I recently purchased a 1.75" wide Garrison EDC belt from Kore Essentials. I normally don't leave product reviews but this time I felt compelled to because wow......I've never been more blown away by a product in my life! First, the belt is extremely high quality....the belt and buckle materials are outstanding, durable with great fit and finish. Second, the belt is sturdy and handles both my mid-size gun and two extra 20 round magazines with no sagging whatsoever. Third, the buckle ratcheting system has to be the most ingenious invention ever. I like to wear my belt tight while moving around. However, when sitting a tightly cinched belt is uncomfortable. No problem for the Garrison. A light squeeze of the release mechanism and bingo, I can loosen the fit and get instant relief while sitting. Then, when I stand up, a slight tug on the belt and the ratcheting mechanism is easily tightened with micro-adjustment capabilities. Fourth, I also love the fact that I can cut the belt to the size range I need. No more guessing during the purchase process and I can further adjust the belt if I loose weight. I am so impressed that I intend to purchase various other belts from the Kore Collection and have also recommended the company to my son. From my perspective, these Kore belts, whether for EDC or just regular non-EDC use, are the best on the market.
That sleeve that you had in the beginning is to protect the belt itself from the clips of your holster. You will basically clip over that sleeve over your appendix carry location.
Last year I've been using the edc with x7 buckle,I also use DCC mono block & my belt hasn't messed up at all. All I do it just lift the clip up when I take it off. I just ordered a battle belt from them. Should be interesting. I also used blue locktite
I tried a bunch of gun type belts to hold up my pants and my glock 19 setup. Used a cobra belt, hanks leather, grip 6, even flimsy groove belt but none are as good as my kore belt when you factor in the support, the adjustableness, comfort and cool buckles with leather or multicam. Sorry to sound like an ad but it's what I think.
Thanks for this video, you explained everything perfectly. Felt like all my questions were answered. I appreciate you taking the time to put this together. I will be ordering one later today. I just need to figure out 1.5 or 1.75 (ill measure my old belt and get whatever I had as my clips on the holsters are that size)
@@arkansasoutdoorschannel1867 thanks for the response. I ended up ordering the 1.5 today, because I read online that exact problem with the 1.75 My last belt was 1.5 so that works! I went with the X7 as I heard it’s smaller and easier to get out of the way for appendix carry ect. Anyway, thanks again… now the wait begins!
B0ught one of the first kore essential track gun belts over 6 years ago and I still wear it a 3-4 times per week when I strap my glock 17 on. I got to be honest it still works abnd looks terrific.
My belt keeper was a generic one little piece tucked in and sewed together. I'm not thrilled about it. And I just received it today! I think I get jaded. Otherwise the belt feels awesome it holds my gun up precisely where I want it.
You don't ever retire a Kore Essentials belt. Once you no longer require the belt you pass it on to someone who does, a father, a son, a daughter, me...
@@arkansasoutdoorschannel1867 Thank you for the quick reply. You are correct on that assumption as I got this from their page: " EDC Leather & Tactical Gun Belts are 1.5" wide and 5 mm thick, and designed for IWB, OWB and Appendix carry situations. EDC Belts come in regular sizes (24" to 54") and XL sizes to fit waist up to 72". Check sizes when ordering." "Garrison Leather and Tactical Belts are 1.75" wide belts and designed for the range, excursions, training or law enforcement. Due to their width they are not ideal for IWB or Appendix. Garrison Belts come in one size that fits any waist from 24" up to 54". Check sizes when ordering. "
Picked a Garrison belt today from the Kore's website. Seemed like a gimmick and thought the plastic ratchet track would fail. We'll see. Time will tell. Normally, I wear a triple-ply Klik 1.75" gun belt and Cobra buckle.
Great review! So Kore states that their Garrison belt is not recommended by them for IWB carry but they say people do it. I notice u do. Have you had any issues with IWB carry? Or edc with it?
I used the 1.5” for over a year. It held my G19 with RMR and spare mag in a sidecar holster with no issues. I went though a Costa Ludus Handgun class using that belt with no issue as well. I ran my CCW set up for the whole thing with no problems.
@@arkansasoutdoorschannel1867 Thank you bro!!! I would LOVE to go through that class. That is awesome training. U have made me feel confident in my choice. Thank you so much! Going to subscribe to your channel. Thanks again for the advice!!
That long piece that came in the box that you thought was to hold the end down is actually to hold a mag. Wethepeople and kore both have the same thing almost.
@@arkansasoutdoorschannel1867 inknow we the people use it for a mag and my buddy who has the garrison was doing the same thing. Maybe he was misusing it then lol
Try using a spare inner tube from your bike, then cut 1/2" -1". Then slide the cut piece to where you want to cover the tail end. Make sure to get the right diameter tube. Like a "Ranger Band" for your belt. Good luck 👍. Better yet, buy a pack of Ranger Bands. Make it simple for you.
@@arkansasoutdoorschannel1867 That’s my concern… I run 2 other 1.75” ‘s and they are fine, but they are significant slimmer and i believe this plays a role too… I ordered online and i went with 1.5” because from what i see these beasts are thick and their thickness could add bulk? or not?

Kore is the best by far
These are the Best belt I have ever owned, love the on the go adjustability and the sturdiness of the belt itself.
Couldn't agree more!
Never thought I would say this but these kore zip belts are fantastic holding my rig up. I love it.
I love them as well
Finally a good review. You actually showed the belt on. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Bought a camo model 3 mos ago and I absolutely love. Well made and highly adjustable.

my kore belt is 4 years old and still chugging and using it daily, thanks.
My first one is a close to that and still has a lot of life left.
The extra sleeve is to put over your belt where the holster would go to protect from excessive wear.
LOL yeah I figured that out after filming the video. Thanks for the view!
Very genius!
Do you prefer the 1.75 or 1.5? Since you have owned both.
For ease of use the 1.5. If you need something heavy duty like you carry a lot of gear the 1.75
I have been looking for a good belt for a long time and this sold me on kore, thanks!
Glad I could help!
Great review sir. Looks like an amazing belt and thank you

I think you will grow to love the belt. I know I sure have.
I have a KORE belt and love it!
Im very happy with mine
Yeah these are a solid choice for gun carry
Agreed
Mine is 3 year old and still works solid. If you do retire it I will take it.
Sorry I gave mine to my kiddo.
If it has nylon strapping on the outside you must melt the ends of the nylon strapping or it will on fray
What holster brands do you use? Seems like almost all of them have their belt klips made for 1.5 inch belt
I ended up going back to a 1.5 belt because of the holsters and some of my pants would not fit a 1.75.
Dang i have a kore and ive had it for 2 yrs. Yours looks way better than mine😂
These are not made in USA correct? The internet is kinda vague about that
I think it says made in China on the belt. I know its not made in the USA.
@@arkansasoutdoorschannel1867 thank you
What kind of pants? I like the design of the pockets and side pockets
I don’t think they make them any more but those are Magpul Pants.

How has it been holding up? I see the companies website says "Not recommended for iwb"
Holding up great. I dont know why they would say not for IWB unless its because most IWB clips are 1.5" and the belt is 1.75".

Ive been running Kore Belts for years now and everyone of them is still going strong.
Will this belt fit in a regular pair of blue jeans ?
It fits on each pair of my jeans. However if you mostly plan on wearing jeans I would recommend going with the 1.5 EDC belt that Kore makes.
Great review! So Kore states that their Garrison belt is not recommended by them for IWB carry but they say people do it. I notice u do. Have you had any issues with IWB carry? Or edc with it?
The 1.75” belt is tight in some belt loops and won’t fit in others. I would stick with the 1.5” belt and that will fit almost every loop out there.
@@arkansasoutdoorschannel1867 Thank you. U didn’t find the 1.5 to be flimsy at all? I saw one reviewer saying that it was.

Have my eyes on the multicam black!
Their multicam black is nice. I have one in their 1.5" belt.
love Arkansas and I love my kore belts.
Kore is the best
I wish they would sell a belt keeper that is sewn together instead of velcro. The velcro on them wears out too fast.

Great to hear!
How do you compare 1.75 to the old one 1.5?
1.75 is very beefy. I went back to 1.5 because not all of my pants could use the larger belt. Nothing wrong with the belt it was my pants.

Kore essentials is legit and I always go with them

If your holster are set up for 1.5" and you go to a 1.75" then yeah they wont fit. Either get different mount or get the EDC belt from Core.
