So...very very funny ...miss programs like that... There's always something funny when one takes the mickie and is able to turn it into something even more...
I didn't remember this show, but the scene is very funny. So I looked it up and indeed, a customer review on Amazon mentions that 'Allo 'Allo was broadcasted in Germany by one of the early private cable networks in the 1980ies. But it was not popular and thanks to the bad ratings was taken off air. Only the first two seasons are dubbed in German, so that's probably those that were broadcasted. It is a little weird. British comedy shows were always quite popular in Germany and also shows like Hogan's Heroes, but I would have thought that one of the public broadcasters would have been a much better fit. Anyway, I'm going to watch some more episodes of this.
@@NoobsAndGeeks Not at all surprised it wasn't popular , it's using Nazi , French and British stereo types over the war. Germany wants to learn but not have comedy made from it, they look stupid in every scene.
@@thecovidprisoner Other shows with the similar kind of humor, stereo types, and WW2 theme are rather popular. And there are plenty of British shows that fit this description I would say and that are popular over here. But 'Allo 'Allo was running on one of those stations that otherwise just showed half naked girls holding up signs, i.e. the audience wouldn't watch such shows that are subtle or ironic etc., believe me. And yes, maybe a higher portion among them would have preferred a different presentation of Nazis.
@@NoobsAndGeeks Don't talk about the war, I did but think I got away with it. Whos this a impression of ?...Does goose step. Fawlty Towers...John Cleese 😂
@@thecovidprisoner Yeah, legendary John Cleese is rather famous in Germany, because of that role and of course because of MPFC, which is a legend of its own over here.
I have to admit that I don't find 'Allo' Allo particularly funny most of the time, but the reveal of the two of them in their underwear at the end was fucking hilarious. The joke works on different levels... It's not just funny seeing them like that, but it's funny to think that they chose to wear that underneath their disguises even though they didn't expect anyone would actually see it!
How the hell did Richard Gibson just stand there while being kissed and not react? If I had Kim Hartmen kissing me, I certainly wouldn't just stand there lol
This scene alone makes this show one of the best of all times 🥰
Gods how I miss them all..
I can watch it many times..love it
No idea how they didn't crack up all the time 😂😂 you can tell a lot of thought has gone into this scene
Love Kim Hartman.
She's gorgeous.
One of my favourite Herr Flick scenes.
Still love it- 12 years later 😂
I don't wish to upset you, but I think you mean *32* years later!
Yikes! O~O
Same....
@@zetetick395 In my country they broadcasted it in the beginning of the 2000’s
Greece didn't get it until the 2000s?

WAIT for the end !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man they used to make such epic comedies. The PC shit shows we have today are such a disgrace to the term comedy.

Wow wow wow this movie hasn't changed a bit
It's not a movie
lowe allo all
*Helga Romance Herr Flick*
They just don't make them like this any more, sadly.
These characters are the only thing that spoils Allo Allo.
That is british humor?
Brexit is more fun.
