Ben Affleck looked cool in the suit, just saying! This film isn't as bad as people make it seem. Obviously, I was too young for this film when it came out, but from what I've seen through trailers and adverts, it looked cool and I felt this was in the same universe as Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man! Loved the action and music and R.I.P. to Michael Clarke Duncan - best live-action Kingpin!
For me it still takes place in Tobey's universe, mainly because it has a similar atmosphere and MCD voiced Kingpin in the 2003 animation that was supposed to be canon
Exactly. I think Ben did a great job with the character given the treatment of the film overall. Back then, they did not treat Superhero films like they do now. I am happy to have witnessed the progression. I still think if they changed the music at certain parts in the film it would be even better. I am a big fan of the Directors Cut.
The Kingpin was wise not to tell anyone that Daredevils is Matt Murdock after removing his mask because no-one would believe that the blind lawyer from Hell's Kitchen can fight so good and break the Kingpin's kneecaps.
People believe it when they see it ya know. The reason why people believe that Peter is Spider-Man in Far From Home and No Way Home because his face was revealed world wide and there was a footage of him "murdering" Mysterio (even though it was fake).

I'd love to see Kingpin go up against Batman now that would be one heck of a fight.
This is the perfect Kingpin.
Really loved these guys, but if Ben Affleck wasn’t 6’4”, and Vincent D’Onofrio could get to Michael Clarke Duncan’s size, presence, and physical abilities,… would make for a much better Comic Book-to-Live Action depiction
Honestly, MCD could do kingpin better than D'Onofrio with the same material. I still liked his performance in the series, but knowing how good MCD was as an actor, I'm sure he would have done a better job with the material
Love u kingpin
History making boss fight top 1.
It was great that this universe was connected to the Spider-Man: The New Animated Series and seeing this Kingpin again. Vincent’s version was great but I also think Duncan played great.
Affirmative Action Kingpin!
One of the best movies
Michael Clarke Duncan, simply the best live action version of Marvel's Kingpin :D.
Its crazy how some people in the twitter space saying Marvel needs to be more inclusive when theyve been like all this since '03. But now they got what they wanted. The recent MCU shows make this movie look 10 times better 👌🏾
Idont know why the secend movie canccelld i think was gona be mr fear and mysterio along side with king pin as villan anyway i think if the 2nd movie happen we see ben affleck dardevil and tobey maguiare spiderman team up to take down micheal clark ducun as kingpin and bruce campbell as mysterio
I still consider this movie greatly entertaining and very underrated
Wish Michael Clarke Duncan was still alive I REMEMBER folks being pissed Kingpin wasn’t white like the original comics but my god everyone changed they opinion seeing Michael Clarke Duncan as Kingpin he did a PHENOMENAL job
It would actually make more sense to have a crime boss over the territory he came from. My Kingpin was a Spiderman villain before he got co-opted by DD.
Say what you will about this movie but Affleck, Clarke Duncan and Farrel were brilliantly casted
Between him and spiderman, why do all kingpin’s enemies have to have their final showdown with the mask off? Lol
I love this movie and I don't care about the criticisms. I do wonder, though, how this fight scene would have ended if Kingpin didn't have those water installations in his office 😅
R.i.P. Michael Clark duncan😢
You'll always be the kingpin.
"I'm not the bad guy"
Need more of this realization in modern films with all these "morally vague" anti-heroes
His daredevil set the tone for Charlie Cox!!! Literally
Rest in power Michael you always be kingpin ❤❤❤❤❤❤🤴🤴🤴🤴🤴🤴🤴🤴🏼🤴🏼🤴🏼🤴🏼
One the best movies never gotten a sequel
