It takes me ages to decorate too, I concentrate on 1 room at a time, but the mess and boxes seem to be around for ever, and all through December I'm tweaking it here and there, I've learnt to buy some bigger items as they tend to pull it all together, your little ones room looks lovely, when I was younger the decorations tended to just be in the living room, and now the whole house gets the special treatment, we already have a tree in my grandsons playroom, this weekend will be the big push for me, can't wait,,,xx

You are so right....it seems to take ages to decorate for Christmas. I am forever tweaking my tree.....I have Ornament Placement Disorder...if I look at my tree and see two red baubles beside each other I have to move one of them. Lol. I started on Wednesday and it’s now Friday night and I still haven’t finished. I have put two trees up and I’m slowly working my way around the house. It’s exhausting. Love your tree. My tree gets fuller every year as I keep buying more decorations for it. Every year I say I am not buying any more Christmas stuff and every year I do. What can I say.....I’m addicted. I just love Christmas. X
You have a collective array of Cute Christmas decorations! Maybe to make it flow alittle more you could pick a color , red or green and add it everywhere. To the tree , coffee table, top of fire place. Hugs!!!

Yes tinsel, really don't like tinsel!!! And thank you for being so kind about the way I decorated. I love Eucalyptus, we have loads of trees in Portugal, the one in my garden is not very scented which is a shame, but still lovely xxxx

Hello Sista. I think the garland looks lovely. I wish I had a eucalyptus tree. Love that smell. And more proof we're sisters...I can't stand garland or tinsel either. Just lots of white lights and ornaments for me. The house looks beautiful and I think you're very hard on yourself. I adore all the small trinkets that draw your eyes around the house. If you really want a suggestion, the candle on the fireplace just seems sort of brown. Maybe a different candle would help. I do like your eucalyptus. I especially like Alex's tree and decorations!
I know this is last year, but it makes no difference how organized I am putting the decorations away after Christmas int the boxes with reference to the room, I still aleays end up in a mess. I am like you and sometimes you are just not happy with something not looking right, I usually have to walk away and go back to it, it usually works out. ( that is when family members like to mess with the tree, turning the decorations around, like santa on top of our 7ft tree, when I am only 5ft) . xxx

stop knocking yourself looks pretty i do not like too much some people go overboard just add few more decs to your tree maybe something that lights up in your living room beside the tree.you have the same surname has mother had lol before she married her family were from Ireland fathers side,it looks good x

Hi Luella, the candle has cinnamon sticks in it, hence the brown tones, I might look for another candle, you are right xxx
