I planted some freesias this year. I have not had a lot luck with them, couldn’t even get them to sprout. I only had one along time ago bloom and I remember the sweet smell. It was heavenly. Good luck with yours!
Thanks! I’m checking on them daily.

Gracias, thank you
I planted my ranunculus and anemones at that time too from Veseys. I soaked and planted them in containers that are now in my garage. I was going to put them outside on my porch after they showed growth. I've never grown freesia before either. I'm also going to plant some acidanthera in pots. Bonny zone 5b
Sounds good! At least in pots you can move them into a shadier spot if the weather gets too hot, that should keep them flowering longer. I think mine will be planted into pots as well.
Whatever happened to this experiment?
Hi Nicole, I really appreciate your videos! What was your experience growing Freesia? Did they end up blooming for you?
I purchased some bulbs and will be planting them this fall to bloom indoors over winter. Pennsylvania 7a.
Happy gardening!
Only a few of them did and it looked pretty pathetic in that giant pot. I didn’t keep the corms. The flowers themselves were lovely.
@@NicolesGardenNS thank you! And what of the fragrance? Can you liken it to any other scent?
