It is indeed a great piece of music, but...it seems to me that this particular version uploaded by Mr Agg seems to be lacking a bit of oomph (certainly compared with the in-game version). It's a bit, well, flat. Not sure why this is.

I feel like this theme perfectly represents each style of character, the subtlety of the Agent and Inquistor, the honor of the jedi Knight and Counsular, the bravado of the smuggler and Bounty Hunter, the the duty and service of the Trooper, and the shere power of the Sith Warrior, well done indeed.

This score truly captures the emotion of the entire game. Not many others can say the same.
People roast this game but tbh playing it with friends and as a full dark side inquisitor it's one of the best star wars games I've played. It's just fun to run around the star wars universe with friends.

@@JacenSolo0 Most dislike it because they have problems with the Revan tie-in novel, as well as it being a bit of a lore-breaker. Not due to power-scaling, but because the story is a bit nonsensical. I still enjoy it, but as an Old EU fan the story feels a bit contrived and overblown. However, playing a max level Inquisitor with my evil friends is pretty fun. It's definitely one of the better MMOs out there, and one of the better Star Wars games to come out in the past ten years.
@@austinkersey2445 I never had a problem with the novel I thought it captured the essence of Revan's heroism and his conflicted light-dark attachments. Also his interactions with Scourge were dope. I didn't like SoR though. I think that was a very contrived story. They should've left him dead in the novel and just have him appear as a spirit in the game or something. But then how would Bioware rake in the dollars without kotor nostalgia bucks lol
@@JacenSolo0 Scourge was the main thing I enjoyed about that novel. Another popular complaint I heard on release was about Meetra Surik being undercut. But, it was overall a good read. As for the game the stories, particularly the DLC expansions, felt a little lackluster.
I'm glad they brought this epic music back with the recent update!

Imagine for a moment. Its E3, Obsidian goes on the stage and announces a game they have secretly worked on for some time. The Trailer starts with the voice of Kreia. Her Last words to the exile, before she dies at malachor. Every Charakter of Kotor 2 gives a short sentence about the past in the mandalorian wars, while showing short clips of old locations like Telos, Dantooine, Korriban etc...Last scene is the crew of the Ebon Hawk in the main area of the ship. The Exile than says: We have no choice...We have to find Revan. Screen is getting dark and the orchestra drops. 0:48 Star Wars Knights of the old republic 3 Shadows of the Force logo appears slowly. To bad we will never see this.

Dude, I was a jit (12) when I got into this. Now I'm 20 and I barely touch the game anymore. I feel sad af remembering the pure joy I had logging in every day exploring the galaxy and talking with random peeps at fleet. The game needs to honestly be reborn as another Old Republic but set during the "New Sith Wars" or even as far back as the "100-Year Darkness War". Both those eras have a vast amount of wiggle room for new stories to be made and allow players to intermingle with galactic history like in SWTOR.
I sincerely hope they hire the Musicians and Composers for Star Wars VII through XII.

@@SapereAude1490 One of them, as far as I can tell, is meant to be a sort of unofficial anthem for the Sith Empire. Whether that is the case, I'm not sure - but it seems to be associated with them.
I love the epic chorus of the Sith half of the song, but that moment at 2:37 is breath taking

I really like this game, but I would have prefered it to be Knights 3. Playing this offline would have been much more to my taste :)
I actually like this game over kotor just because of the combat and the way the conversations are setup and the missions are hard and the game doesn't telll you how to complete them
I agree. The level design is much nicer, you're main character speaks (I chose the Trooper for J. Hale) and I prefer this combat where you have imidiate feedback. But I miss playing alone and not get stuck on something because you need to play with others. I also hate how the world is filled with other players that 'stalk' you. I always 'mountain goat' through the stages and feel like I'm being watched :P

If there were to be a SWTOR TV Show, this should play as the intro.
If this isn't the intro it should definitely be the outro. Dude, I've made so many different concept ideas for a massive Old Republic multimedia project; situated in the Legends universe of course. Some idea I had were for there to be a:
- KOTOR comic story to "anime" series adaptation
- Tales of the Jedi TCW-type series
- Novels and comics during the various conflicts of the overarching "Old Sith Wars" between 4000 BBY to 3950 BBY
- Video games that let players interact and be present during important events/battles that took place in the days of the Old Republic
- Live action movie trilogy for Tales of the Jedi set during key historical points: 100-Year Darkness War, Great Hyperspace War, and Exar Kun's Great Sith War)
- Live action movie trilogy for Knights of the Old Republic I and II as portrayed in the video games. The last movie can be an original story of warfare during the latter stages of the Sith Civil War...
- After further fleshing out TOTJ and KOTOR, we could head back to SWTOR and get new stories and lore via video games, novels, and comics during the Great Galactic War that lasted over 2 decades...
- I have a bunch more things I'd like to fanboy over but I'mma stop here cuz this is gonna turn into a whole article in the comment section 😩

VITIATE can consume whole planets, Can transfer into different bodies how many times he wants, can replicate armies of himself, and led the sith and the zakuulan armies in the course of 2,000 and sidious only led his pathetic empire for 20 years that's laughable.

I used to play this game. My parents made me stop because it was so awesome I spent too much time on it. I listen to this... it makes me so nostalgic, I loved this game. Four level 55s, and the fun never stopped. To all who keep playing this amazing game, I wish you the best... Never stop, always be overleveled, and someday you WILL be on the top with your level 50 or 55. Always learn new things and appreciate how good this game is. It's my #1 game of all time and some day I plan to return.
Also, Voss is the best planet! I love the people, the Shrine of Healing, and the Dark Heart... it is a very beautiful planet with amazing people. If you are an Imperial Agent two surprises await you... I highly recommend the Agent storyline as female. That and Trooper, Consular, and Inquisitor. Go to Voss and kick ass.
