Arrowtown is One of the loveliest & beautiful peaceful calm place in the World. P. T. S. is best & Bus regularly goes each hour from Queenstown to Arrowtown. I love being at Arrowtown.

Does anyone know if the trees will be this "orangy" in colour in late May? Wondering because ill be heading there then.
Leaves are falling in late May, but you will still see some colours. Early May is better.

In 1952 I stayed in a little holiday cottage - no toilet but a can in a shed in the garden.-with my school friend and her parents. They sunbathed all day and we were left to wander. Not a person or car in sight. Not a building open. All windows boarded up. Most boring holiday ever. BUT I PREFER,IT TO THIS TOURIST HORROR.
