Hi, great tips in your vlog. Can I just check though, it says that Seaworld and Aquatica have free parking, but on their website it says its approx $30. Have you got a deal through your hotel/car hire?
Hi Chris thanks for watching and for your comment. The free parking at SeaWorld, Aquatica and Busch Gardens was included with our Discovery Cove Ultimate Ticket. Sometimes the parking at those parks is free depending on which ticket you purchase.
Do note, food prices are very high at the moment here in the US, which has become a point of contention with our upcoming presidential election. Also, if you go outside the main tourist bubble area, food prices will drop. Finally, some fast food restaurant chains are experimenting with surge pricing - like Uber and Lyft do, where prices go up during certain times of the day. Check online to see which ones are doing it, then boycott them. Not here to turn people off on visiting the US, but only want people to know of the current cost of food so they can plan accordingly.
Thanks BigBilly that’s really interesting to know, I had no idea fast food places were doing this! Unfortunately food has gone up here in the UK too. In our upcoming vlog series we share what we pay for everything to help others plan and budget accordingly. It was one of the things I had concerns about before we came out and couldn’t find much information about it. Hopefully it’s helpful.
Just watched the video and wondering was your $200 a day budget realistic ? There’s 3 of us going next month and just debating on how much to take. We’re staying at Rosen Inn at Pointe, have a hire car and there for 10 days. We’re doing Universal, Discovery Cove, Seaworld, Aquatica, Icon Park and Wild Florida Loving your vlogs so far 👌🏻
Thanks for watching and for your comment Michael. It turned out it was fine. You’ll see from the vlogs we didn’t want for anything and had plenty to eat. There were a few cheaper meals at places like Wendy’s, Steak and Shake and Panda Express but we would have had those anyway. Your trip to s very similar to ours but there’s only 3 of you. You’d get away with less of a budget if needed. Having the car was a win as we popped to Walmart to top up on a few things for the room. We always took sweets and snacks to the park. It’ll depend on what you want to and where you want to eat etc. I bet you’re looking forward to the trip. Is this your first time?
@@thekennafamilyadventures5 it’s our 5th time, haven’t been since 2019, but our sons first time as we adopted him 5 years ago He’s been watching the vlogs with me and he’s looking forward to it, especially the Hulk ride ! Did u buy the photo package from DC ?
Not the full package but we bought 3-4 photos that came out the best. We looked at all of the photos but a lot weren’t great with hair over faces etc 😂. As Jem mentioned in the video if you plan on getting the package it’s normally cheaper if bought in advance. Amazing park at DC. You’ll probably find that most things are more expensive now than in 2019 but I suppose that’s the same in the UK too. Have an amazing trip with your family. Your son will be blown away. Orlando is awesome , as you know, so to see him experience it for the first time will be special! If you have any other questions just let me know. Happy to help.
Very good video 👏
Thank you for watching Ultan 👍
Sky scanner is ok but check the airline first,s sometime Skyscanner inflates the price and suggest the worst airlines
Really good intresting information, thank you.
Thanks Andy. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching!
