- President Biden and former President Trump face off tonight in their first presidential debate. The issues are expected include abortion, immigration, inflation, Mr. Biden's age and Mr. Trump's felony convictions. For former President Trump, aides say they've advised him to take a measured approach in tonight's debate, while President Biden needs to show he can handle four more years on the job. NBC News' Hallie Jackson and Kristen Welker report.
