half of the grease is enough. In addition, it doesn't need so much upstairs, the moving parts are more important. I travel my Z2 from 140 too 130mm next week.
When you put the new air spring in, you can then release the air pressure that you just created from the valve so you don't need to hold it down while fitting the coiled lock ring 👍

Nice video! I'm definitely going to watch this at least 30 more times when I try to upgrade my z2 from 120 to 140. I've never upgraded a fork - so does this essentially lengthen your axle to crown by 30mm (or in my case 20mm)?
Great video mate I assume I don’t need a new air shaft if I wanna reduce it from 140 to 130 Put a 10mm spacer thing between the piston and black rubber that will eventually shorten the rod, as a result shorten the travel? It might limited your max number of Volume Spacer you can install because you’ve occupied more room on the chamber by adding the spacer I mentioned above Not sure if it can be done this way
Honestly you don't have to take the top off. Unless you are trying to clear everything out of the stanchions. For me the for was barely ridden so I didn't think it was necessary

Well an update, I added foam rings to the fork and with the lower service and the correct amount of oil in the legs the fork is working great with out the annoying click I was getting. When I took the lowers off there was maybe 2ml of oil in each leg instead of ten in each leg that’s supposed to be there
You put wayyyyy too much grease on that airspring. Why did you put grease on top of the sealhead? Many people need to service their new forks just to get that excess grease out that you put in.
Great work bro! I have the Z2 for my new whip, but its the 140mm. However my bike can go to up to 150mm as well (per manufacture). So if I ever wanted to get mine to 150mm I'll just get the shaft. I agree on volume spacers. I am planning to add a couple as well. I personally like to try the MRP ramp control. Have you ever owned one?
Yes, it will absolutely change the head (and seat) tube angles. Expect about a half degree slacker for every 10mm increase in travel, assuming your sag gradient remains the same.
