Queen Elizabeth was a girl, young lady, woman, mother, Queen, grandmother and great grandmother. She had a long and proud life; she took the UK through the twentieth century and then into the twenty first century. She was queen before I was born so she always was the face of the UK for myself, she will be missed.......
That's one dimension of her persona. Another one is that she headed an institution that presided over the plunder, slavery and torture of literally billions in Asia and Africa.
We miss her dearly in Canada 🇨🇦 😢 she has always been the Queen of Canada for all my 39 yrs on earth 🌎 , I am not a huge fan of Charles at all , I only am respecting him because it was the Queens wishes , however I know a lot of Canadians who say they hope he has the shortest reign ever, I think he should abdicate to William and Kate sooner rather than later. He just doesn't have the popularity the queen had , and Camilla , definitely not a fan......Will and Kate will keep us united and I think it's the only chance to keep our many nations in the common wealth together. Rest in peace, your majesty, I shook your hand when you were in Ottawa and we had your infamous small talk and I told her joke where she laughed out loud , I even shook Prince Philip's hand , Canada always loved when the Royals came to Canada , a lot of Canadians wish Princesses Anne would have took her place til HRH Will and HRH Kate take it over. Princesses Anne has made a lot of visits here and we would have loved to see her be the Queen! She was always so lovely on her lone visits to Canada 🇨🇦 you can tell Princesses Anne was a rock in that family through the death of her mother. She would have been just like her Mom. Again rest and peace and thank you for being here for Canada .

I'm a proud, black Christian man who has lived in America all my life! But I've been a fan of the royal family for years! Her Royal Majesty the Queen Elizabeth Il was a incredible, remarkable, admired, etc, woman! I don't think that I can think of enough words to describe how awesome she was. And in the handling of her job and duty as Queen of England, etc! Also her love ❤️💜 and wonderful work as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, etc. A woman to be admired around the world 🌏🌎🌍, down through the history of the world 🌏🌎🌍! RIP Queen Elizabeth Il, you did your job with the best of fashion that could ever be spoken!

She is a gentle soul and is with her Lord. She served and comported herself with much grace and resilience. I love her!
Without friends n family support, Queen would not be able to reign till 96 yrs. Sister Margaret loved her sister n supported her in her way. Queen Mother stayed till 102 yrs. Philips stayed till 101 yrs. Queen had her support system around her. After losing all loved ones Queen lost will to live n followed them shortly.

Philip was 99 and the Queen Mother was 101. It must have been so hard to lose her sister and then lose her mother about 6-weeks later.

My mom was a year younger than her and in my mind I connected them because they were similar looking to me, and such products of their time…My mom passed away in 2014 and now the Queen. Whatever you think of her, or the monarchy, you can’t say she didn’t do her duty to her country♥️

Yet she is my sister & there for 1 half of me.
I once heard the late King George VI describe his daughters,

I think because of their disparity, the queen mother brought some stability in the relationship. Luckily, the queen mother outlived one of her daughters and the monarchy benefitted from that immensely.

I lived in a town in Ireland called Birr . It has a huge Castle and Princess Margaret married into that family. Mother said they were told from the Pulpits when Princess Margaret was visiting. Mother saw her many times .

I was sad when I answered a phone calls from Philippines, here in California it was 8:00 a.m. about my mother just died 9/8/22 then our roommate tells me news about Queen Elizabeth passing, the same day as my mother died too also my mother name was Elizabeth, Evra, Delarmente. So I was shocked to hear about both news. My mother was a U.S. citezin, she was with us since 1998.

Could be or they were producing a series about the 2 sisters and since Covid allot of projects were delayed from 2+ years ago and slowly worked on and then the Queen passed and they rolled that into it.

From my general observation, HMTQ & Princess Margaret's personalities mirror those of Prince William & harry. HMTQ relived the challenges with/for Princess Margaret -- in dealing with harry. Princess Margaret often caused "embarrassment" for the RF however she didnt trash them as harry has done.

Look up the story of Olivia de Havilland and Joan Fontaine. They were both sisters and hated each other. They didn’t speak to each other for over 20 years. Olivia refused to go to Joan’s funeral when she died.
