This song is from the SNACKTIME EP, released November 12, 2021.
'Pineapple Kryptonite' was on the same EP.
It was produced by Money Mark, best known for his work with the Beastie Boys.
He also produced their new song 'Forever Sisters'.
I know we've mentioned it a few times, but Atarashii Gakko! don't have a choreographer, they create their own dance routines.

I watch their videos many times and see something I new every time.
Every time I watch the AG live, I am amazed at the professionalism of the girls.
Having a strong individuality, doing very complicated choreography, at some moment the girls start to act as one! They don't look at each other, they can be with their backs to each other and even in different places (like in Budokan) and act in the same rhythm and according to different scenarios, but at the same time creating one clear show! Amazing! 😍
I'd like to suggest checking out their new one, "Dance Dance Dance Today" from Barcelona. It was like a dance battle, even without the song 😊

If you watched them enough, although Suzuka is the obvious focal point, you'll often see her defer to to Mizyu, because she's the choreographer for most of it. But together it's genius.
I, like many others, enjoy your analysis because you are a professional choreographer and appreciate AG’s talent in that area. And, we understand you watch many groups performance, but it drives us crazy when you talk about “their choreographer” because they don’t have one! It’s them devising the routines and Mizyu is the recorder and keeps journals for reference. We understand it took time to learn their names but please remember that fact about them.
The fact that I had once boasted this to some of my dancers- and it glazed over me in this reaction!??? I’ll remember!

Fantastico is one of their older numbers and is basically all nonsense. The lyrics are gibberish and the choreography seems to have come out of some improvisation. AG! are credited with the lyrics and the choreography so it's probably a pretty good insight into their creative minds.
I agree with you that AG! don't need anything other than themselves to put on a show. Part of what makes them so good live is that they communicate their confidence and joy to a crowd so they can sit back and just enjoy themselves safe in the knowledge that they will be entertained. It's summed up in their new song "Omakase" or "leave it to us", which I suggest you look at because it draws heavily on Japanese traditional dance and so is yet another departure for AG!
I always felt like Fantastico grew out of a school-like creative exercise they gave themselves. Here’s a little bit of music, make up some nonsense lyrics and tell a nonsense story with it in dance. Someday, when an Atarashiii Gakko school of dance catches on (with AG-inspired dojos popping up spontaneously worldwide), I can imagine this being a second-level rite of passage. First level, of course being, take your socks off your feet, and find a new expressive use for them.

Atarashii Gakko is more amazing live in my opinion, and this is normal with japanese artist, their are always better live :)
