- Inspired by Avafaid's great mashup! link here: • Touchtone Bubblegum - ...
Wanted to have a go at this combo because it was just too perfect! Also because I got my hands on the stems of both songs and I wanted to see what I could come up with.

None of these are mine, I just smushed ‘em together to make it sound and look decent. Message me on social media if you want something removed (and you own one of these)!
To me, these kinds of mashups always tell different variations of the same story: Two childhood-teenhood friends who drifted apart as adults, reunite. One is the epononymous Bubblegum Bitch (referred as BB from now on), the other a conspiracy theorist who desperately missed BB’s company, roping them into the rabbit hole they’ve fallen into. The theorist
This sounds like Dipper and Mabel reunited years later as adults to solve one last mystery
“Don’t care if you think I’m dumb, I don’t care at all.”
"Welcome to the life of-" "Robert Stack!" "Bitch!" is a great fucking bit actually.
"Life gave me some lemons so I made some lemonade"
When you’re trying to solve the existence of aliens but your best friend won’t stop talking about kissing woman

Neil says ‘cause I’m the right one’ just before she talks about how she met a boy. When she says they fell apart, he says OH MY GOD. It’s like they’re acting it out. Or she is remembering the voice of her past love. And I find that beautiful
this is like the definition of mlm and wlw friendship. I can see these two having paranormal adventures together
"Welcome to the life of- Robert Stack."
It’s giving Barbenheimer 🌅🏖️
This gives off the vibes of 2 incredibly queer kids in high school who don't have a lot in common but they're the only queer people in school so they become friends
this would be a really good 90s movie but i cant explain why
neil singing with marina feels so weird. it’s like, he’s never
I swear I hear neil singing along with BB. These mashups practically feel like their own genre and I love it.
To quote Neil here… “OHHH MY GOOOOD!”
This song single handedly got me to make up a story about a kinda narcissistic pop-star and a paranoid conspiracy theorist teaming up to defeat aliens and also have lemon-flavoured bubblegum
