I drove 4 hours to this gig and nearly lost my phone while recording this. It was worth it.

Oh man, the chills... I would drive across country to hear them play P2 from front to back live.
I literally did (and back the same night) for this set. It was 100% worth it.

Hearing the P2 stuff again warms my soul. That album is *untouchable.*
First time I ever saw Periphery live was the Escape from the Studio tour and it was the last time they played majority P2 songs. They opened with Muramasa and Ragnarok, and closed with Masamune. Absolutely incredible show. Got to see Intervals with a vocalist and The Contortionist for the first time!
That was such a killer tour, and same with the first time seeing Intervals and The Contortionist! That was my third Periphery show

This band’s events seem more like jam sessions with a bunch of fans watching. No crazy stuff and choreography going on. Just the band enjoying the music with their fans and having a good old time. Not too much crazy head banging either. I’m sure their spines thank them.

I also drove 4 hours and it's one of the best decision I ever made. This video is amazing but the sound in that venue was fucking insane. I've never seen anything like it and I genuinely wish I could rewind and live it again.

Lower your expectations. It’s a live recording using a phone that’s next to (not in front of) the speakers. It’s not going to be anything magical as far as sound definition goes.
