I studied the Chapin video for years too and I understand you studied a bit with him too. If I'm understanding Chapin correctly he shifts his fulcrum to his rear fingers (kind of Tony Williams style) based on dynamics while performing the Moeller technique?

That finger control is amazing, it looks so easy. Are you using more motion with the right arm/hand?
