I sure do wish I could make the retreat; kid you not, have it on my “list of things” to discuss at this week’s infusion visit (see doc first/prior). I could wear a mask, imo. I sure would LOVE some likeminded friend time.

I dabble in painting too, lol. I’ve never tried watercolors, but my mom and I took a few classes together over the years. It’s another fun hobby.

I love your videos and really enjoy the market insights. I’ve been trying to watch as many market videos as I can since I’m new to selling my crafts. Many of the UA-cam vendors are very negative right now about how saturated the crochet sales are at markets. Do you feel the same?
There are a lot of us I believe in the market right now but I'm trying to avoid it by doing juried shows or things super small and local. I think everyone's going to struggle a little this year at markets due to inflation, election year, etc.

I'm just learning to crochet just so I can make things that you show. What might be the easiest to start with? And what yarn? Thanks, love watching you.
Definitely start with a yarn that won't split and get the basics down. Learn to chain, single crochet, etc. while keeping your tension under control. Maybe a dishcloth or something that's just rows. Then move onto plushies and harder stuff. Best of luck!
