I love the turtles! So adorable. I had my very first craft show at a fall festival last Saturday. It’s in a really small town near us. There weren’t many people, just like your show, it was so hot. Not fall like at all. I feel it went well though and I had more sales than the vendors on either side of my tent.
Hi Stacy! Uggg, heat, I hate I. Add the humidity and you can barely breathe. Happy for you your market did well, kinda makes it more worth it! Sorry it made you feel icky, hydrate and rest! The turtles are cute, one of my faves to make. Hopefully your next market will be in 70 degree weather. Doubt that will happen for me here in Florida! 🦋💖🦋💖
I have no idea how you stayed out in that heat all day!!!! And then put out a video today! That is a lot. You rock! Hope you feel better soon. 🐢was awfully cute too.
Booth looks amazing as always! I feel your pain when it comes to the HEAT! Hopefully it starts cooling down for your next markets, stay cool and hydrate!❤
I feel your pain in that heat. You’re right the body totally hurts after setup and break down. Let’s not even talk about the hand pain 😢Happy for you that your local market did well for you!
Hi Stacy, I enjoyed your market video and feel for ya in the heat. 🥵 At least you were able to move out some older inventory.😁Your turtle is adorable! Especially with a little smile.😊 Your makes are always so cute. Hope your headache and hands feel better ❤
I completely understand that drained feeling after a hot market day. Even though I drink a lot of water, I feel dehydrated for like two days. And no energy. I’m super impressed that you made and edited this video and got it out to us! Thank you. Here’s hoping your hands start to feel better!
Trust me when I tell you I feel your pain! I was also outside all day for a show in that sticky IL heat! It was miserable!!! I don't know what it is about tearing down especially in that kind of heat, but it just takes it out of you, I am still feeling it today!
I was a vendor at our local town Fall festival Saturday as well. It was excruciating. I am like you and don't handle the heat well. I live in Indiana and we had the same weather here. I was hoping to sell most of my stock, but there was very low vendor turn out as well as very low traffic that came through. My daughter helped me set up at 8am and the festival ran 10am-5pm. Most of us stuck it out till about 430pm and we all started packing it in. I was down for the count that night and most of Sunday. I wish I could say that I did well, but only made $100, booth space was $45. What a sad day. There is another festival coming up in a nearby town on Oct 19th. I am not sure yet if I want to participate. I have several WIPs that I could get finished so I could restock what did sell and add a few more items. Just not sure what to do right now.
That's always frustrating. Getting the first few years in and setting yourself up with the ones that were worth it definitely has it's trials and tribulations. Hope the next one is great! 😃
The heat was like that for me last week. It wipes you out of all energy, lol. I always enjoy watching your videos and hanging out!
❤️🥰❤️
Sounds like MS Coastal heat.🥵 Electrolytes help with hydration and headaches. The little turtle is adorable. 💚
Thank you ❤️
I know that heat drained you two... It was a hot market yesterday here in SC. I remember your scrappy cow! That's awesome 🎉
Thank you!

Glad you had a good experience despite the heat and crowd! ❤️

Thank you! Taking some breaks but will probably regret it when I need inventory 😂

Yes I'm still exhausted lol
I recently made a turtle by cj designs with posh. I talked about it in my UA-cam video this week- crochet by toscha- yours turned out really cute!
