I had travel from Bolivia, to be part of the guest of this Blessing Ceremony of more of 20,000 thousand couples getting Married at the same time in Korea and many Unifications Churches around de world. I had cry of happiness to look the many young brothers and sister happiness amount each other even many of theme had know there self's the day before, this it is the way to preside the Kingdom of God in earth and heaven thank's to our Messiah's Sun Myung Moon and Wife. the point of these wedding is to reconcile nations for peace. which is one of the many visions of rev. moon
I am a parent of one of those in the program and we were not altogether happy about the use of music or the old footage used in the program. The music gave a sinister feeling. Also they were only following the Human story so did not explain any of the reasoning or process of the whole matching process. Of maybe 1-2 hours of filming from one session they used maybe 5 seconds of what I said. so it doesn't really give my side of the story but they were making a Channel 4 Documentary!
They are only allowed access to the moonies if the whole programme is positive. If it was Panorama the whole angle would be different.
i watched the show yesterday and admittedly i started thinking they were all mad but by the end of it my view had changed.
it normal to fear and distrust things that are different but that is why we should all be encouraged to inform ourselves about what seems strange to us. As for this being a cult... well yes it is but then again so is every arm of Christianity.
i do think that the editing was a tad emotive but then again that is what sells so you cant blame the makers for that

How many Catholics consider the Pope the Messiah hardly any. .
I dont think the programme was completely positive. My views on the marriage blessing changed thanks to the programme but then again that may be because i had only ever seen the headlines about it before. As to the church itself i distrust all organised religions.
As for your comment to caucasian619. They call rev. moon 'Messiah' not god. Not much different to the pope then
Other genuine faiths don't take a single human being (rev moon ) and think he's a god. Do Catholics think the Pope is a God.
