@InterMiamiGoat I bought the Deluxe edition and regretted it after a few hours of gameplay and realising how broken the game is but fortunately months down the line updates will be added and maybe it will be more worth playing
the fact that u got ppl in the comments defending this game is the reason why devs (gaming companies) all across the gaming eco release trash buggy unfinished games.
People enjoy what they enjoy nobody has to listen to you …. The gaming community is ruining gaming and will continue to ruin gaming . Y’all new gamers are sissy boys
It feels like they released an unfinished game for $60-70. The immersion is terrible, the "commentary" is horrendous as they repeat the same 5 lines over and over again. I literally had to shut it off. The fighting is so odd and looks wacky. It's hard to pull off a real counter punch, you just sit there and wait to throw a punch. No real slipping or pulling back. The fighting styles of different fighters don't feel unique to their own. They might throw their punches slightly different (really apparent with Roy Jones) but that's it. You don't have Canelo slipping and moving or Bivol jumping in and out while throwing compilations. So much feels left to be desired. I will say though the game play is fun (non online) once you get the hang of it and unlearn everything you knew from fight night. The fights are way more competitive compared to fight night and the AI is really accurate which can be frustrating at times. Also you can't create a fighter and have them be skilled as they're heavily capped. For example: let's pretend I wanted to create Mike Tyson. I can make him look perfect, but when it comes to assigning him his skill level it won't let me give him anything over 80 overall skill points. So he's heavily handicapped unlike fight night where you could create a great lookalike if you put in the time and effort. Final thoughts: The game is fun. I like the gameplay (non online) and it is awesome to see modern day fighters in game. But there's so much to be desired it feels you were sold an unfinished game. It's in need of many updates and revisions to be where you know the game can be. If you just can't wait I say buy it, you'll still have a good time. But if you can wait I'd say wait for November or December when games are usually discounted for the holidays.
Online to combat spammers, all you have to do is lean back and then throw a lead power uppercut to the body. It works against the guys who just spam power shots with Wilder.
I do agree with one point in that the fights are much more intense against A.I. that being said, in early career mode it fucking sucks because you just miss everything as the 45 overall AI kicks your ass because you miss constantly and they just perfectly outbox and counter everything. That is not fun. If my opponent does not dodge, I should not miss. I get thats a part of boxing, sure. But not one that should be added. Missing a punch through no control of my own should not be a feature.
@@cedrickwoodson6152 yea FN 1,2,3 and Champion were all better then this. But if Champion got a next gen update with 60fps and next gen graphics I'd throw my money at them.. The styles and mechanics have been perfected. Like if you fight with an outside style you better be good at jabbing, sticking and moving, if you use an inside style u better know how to cover and roll, bob and weave.. In this it jusy seems for show, everyone looks like they move and fight the same at the end of the day. FN literally has different stances, punches and defense and you could mix it up however you wanted it and it all feel so realistic..
@@ocerco93exactly. It's ok to be honest and critical of the game. That's the only way it can be improve. It's hilarious when nuthuggers blindly agree and thinks everything is perfect
It just came out just give it time it’ll get better the head movement needs some work there’s some bugs that should get patched the punches need more polish but overall I’m happy with the game
Hahaha I was the Ali at 4:40. Been a fan of you for months dude! Didn't know it was you! And yeah, the power spam is ridiculous and once I picked up on it, I realised that was the only way to win matches. As an Usyk main, I went 0-4 when I first launched into Online, but I shortly switched to Ali & Wilder and I'm literally 34-5. Meaning I've only lost ONCE since the switch. I'm glad I made the video - especially for showcasing a broken mechanic in a very very broken game.
@@bigman7025 I only did it like 9~ish times and it was usually only if it was against spammers. This fight with Claimer was like my 6th game and I had already lost 4 times to spammers so I was figuring out if power spam worked. You're criticising me in hindsight when this was legit a few hours after launch.
@@JoshuaTXI no im criticising you for being a spammer and you clearly havent used it a couple times since it carried you to almost be undefeated the second you started to use it😂
If you want some mindless, boxing fun, then yeah. But I can't truly justify the price rn. I bought it for like 30 for the pc way back then so I'm chilling
Yeah same, I got it for £25 I guess you're dollars, and for the price and the time I've played it I got my money's worth. But look at the trailer from 3 years ago.. it's essentially a scam.
I bought everything and I’m also very much so chillin $80 in and it’s a good game that will be great with the updates just like everything they release these days
Thanks YoungCity, my only objective is to keep pressure on Steel City to fix the game and put an end to this content creator sales tactic they're pushing.
Refreshingly tactical. I can create a career and stick leather on specific sides on my opponents face until it’s completely swollen shut, and pouring blood causing the ref to award me the fight 12 fights in a row! What a fun time! The fight mechanics could use some retooling as well as fashion, and in game music / commentary. There is a module on the home screen notifying upcoming content and offers (likely monitizations). Please allow us to go crazy with the fashion without pay walls for the color blue or any other predatory practice and I’m good on this game. My sister hates boxing games, and loved this couch co-op game! I’m taking it to my holidays for tournaments.
The fighting looks so bad, like rock em’ sock em’ robots. Both fighters just stand there stiffly trading punches. Can’t believe this is a game from 2024.
Spot on, dont get the glaze this game is getting off die hards. Bought it pre ordered, needs massive improvement. Inside fighting is horrendous, outboxing is better but still awful. I get we're asking a lot here, but its a BOXING GAME. The entire game is combat, it should be a top level combat game and it simply isnt. Good god the accuracy too. Why do I miss 3/4ths of my punches? zero combos allowed, and as a guy who likes to play swarmers its literally impossible. You cant rush in as marciano and bang to the body as you step around cause 90% of the time the ai masterfully just knows every punch youre gonna throw and just blocks it. Youre either plodding around the ring as your opponent eternally keeps their guard up or youre rushing in like a mad man as you both stand and bang like morons before one of you drops. That is not boxing
@CatchTheMarmosets it was made by 10 people it doesn't have the same backing power as ea all the things u complain about are skill issues I've been having Hella fun. The hit registry isn't the best carrer mode could be better but for there first game is good it got some good fighters and ik more are coming
The game is broken. Fight night’s punch registering was 10 times better than this. I was playing on the hardest difficulty against Crawford and I timed a power uppercut and the punch went through Crawfords chin and didn’t even register. Video is a short on my channel. Also the online is so broken. I just end up slugging out power right hands with Deontay Wilder. It’s not fair how he can drop you through your block with 1 power right. Punches hit you and don’t even connect but still do damage online. Still I think with updates it will be better!
Big fan of your videos, Claimer! I’d be a lot kinder to this game if it was $40 due to it being an “indie” effort, but if you’re charging AAA prices I expect a AAA game and this ain’t it, chief. So many issues with the core mechanics that I have to basically force myself to have fun with it, and even then it all feels very MEH. Add to that a super stale career mode and all the online issues (power shot spamming with no real stamina penalty, ghost punches etc) and you got yourself a 5 or 6 out of 10 game at launch. Wait to see if they release significant patches before buying or you’ll regret it IMO (speaking as someone who stupidly bought the $100 deluxe edition on PS5)
Thanks Solid, and agreed.. I'd be far more lenient if the price was fair and relative to what's on offer. They've released multiple CGI trailers without a disclaimer that it's not real footage.. it's anti-consumer at this stage.
@morsecode5078 Consider also.. SCI are fully aware that for PS5 once you download the game you can't get a refund. That's why they've been pushing the game with CGI trailers.
They probably couldn’t or didn’t want to put in the work to make the ref stay out of the way, and out of the way of the camera or make the camera adjust based on where ref is.
@@deon3133I mean why does it matter ?? The ref ain’t gonna be doing anything lmao he’s just gonna be there …. Why yall always wanna put a year on some shit like that matters
If you're boxing game deprived and FNC doesn't cut it... then get it out of pure deprivation. The game is never going to be good for another 3 years at this rate. Great video brother, nailed it all 🎉❤
I had one career fight today that didn't end. After the end of the round, the clock stayed at zero. I battered the AI but it wouldn't let me knock him out. I took a knee to see if it would "reset" it but it didn't. My player got up and both fighters stood face to face but wouldn't engage so it was classed as a loss. Input lag and ghost knockouts are common. HW and everything down to mid weights seem like they have a decent amount of characters. The lower men's weights have a small selection. Online is full of spamming the heavy shots. Cuts and bruising look unrealistic. Career training and weight/fitness preservation needs looking at. AI coach mid round break was caught in a speech loop. He said "get out there and get into him" or similar then said "WHEN you get out there, really get into him" "I recommend you just throw your jab and get into him". I was a British fighter with an American coach and the AI American fighter had a BRITTISSHHH COACH who was all "apples and pears, geezer mate, luvvly jubbly". Game is lacking.
It doesn’t matter if the games not perfect we need to buy this game to show there’s a want for boxing games and hopefully other studies will follow do we really want to wait another 13 years for another boxing game
There needs to be a deep system in terms of how opponents get stunned, more dmg and hits they take, the percentage of random stuns goes up a little, along with low percentage random ko’s. I was stoked for this game, however as I’ve learned in the past you always wait for release and reviews. Glad I did.
This game is awesome especially offline! You have to learn the mechanics of effective punching and may have to adjust the level in the beginning as well!
I remember playing fight night champion 4 without hud. It was so well done you could feel how was Your boxer stamina just looking at the animations and speed
Exactly, I play FNC on emulation at 4k and 60fos with no HUD. Playing against the AI, feels like you're playing against a human, they'll pick the right shots, and when they're low on stamina there's a specific animation which makes it clear.
Why would you not just copy the winning recipe of Fight Night? That’s what WE WANT. The mechanics are so bad. It’s horrid. Like as bad as I’ve ever seen a video game be in the mechanics department. It is not boxing at all. It’s random hopeful button mashing
Totally hear you man. But you heard what Dev said. They will do whatever they want regardless. My heart says yes - my brain says meh - My wallet says no way
My thoughts exactly! FN champion had the best mechanics of all the fn games. I thought they were gonna fix the mechanics on the this game once it came out for consoles but it still looks clunky and awkward. I’m on the fence of buying the game for ps5. Yet I’ve been dying for a boxing game for 12 years now
@@km09. yeah bro. I agree with you too. The game looks promising but need to work. It almost looks like they added an arthritis DLC to this. Look a little stiff bro. Stiff in the wrong places. Lol
Does the game have the same punching controls of FNC? Flicking the stick? up left- jab Down left=left upper cut, Left=left hook? Does it have that game control?
I’m so glad I found your video. None of the reviews or gameplay videos I’ve seen mentioned the game mechanics in that much detail. I was seriously considering getting the game after a long absence of any boxing game after FNC. I think I’ll wait until they do some more work on this title.
Ur welcome, sadly most of the reviewers recieved the game for free, and are affiliated with SCI, creators of Undisputed in some way. Especially content creators. I've been covering the game for 1.5 years, and from day one.. I sensed it would go this way with the shady people involved.
I’ve been watching a streamer play who’s consistently beating players who spam power shots and he isn’t using any, there seems to be affects on stamina as he’s rocking and dropping them by dodging the power shots and just returning regular punches
@@Ads20105 yeah that’s fair, so far I’d seen really positive feedback. Haven’t bought the game yet but was planning on it and really hoping it is decent and they do continue to fix and update any issues
What's the name of the streamer, and I'll let you k ow if they're an official Undisputed content creator who get the game for free, and benefit from promoting the game positively.
@@MoistMusic we've been told the next planned update will be in December... So they need to atleast release a few hotfixes over the next few weeks, but honestly.. The community aren't hopeful.
I was excited for a new boxing game, but decided to hold off buying it and see how it looked after launch because I had never heard of the studio making it. Sounds like I made a good decision.
PS5 / career mode player. I’m loving it. Career mode is so much fun and you really feel the difference between swarmers to outsiders, power punchers to body merchants. I’ve just missed boxing games for far too long so maybe I’m easily pleased but it looks beautiful and it’s a solid foundation. The game needs a lot of work and the roster needs to be extended - which will surely come in future DLC’s and that money hopefully goes to future patches and ultimately Undisputed 2 in 3-5 yrs time. Amazing that a small studio has come up with a gem like this. Support them guys. With your content and your money. And yes, I know, it needs a lot of work still
I wish we could adjust each side of our custom boxer's face separately. Nobody's face is symmetrical in real life. I also hope they add a broadcast camera for those who experience motion sickness from the audience spinning around. And they need ringcard girls with jiggle physics 🥊
Game needs a LOT of work I thought the stamina feature was supposed to punish the overly aggressive when they miss shots Except in ranked, they get rewarded with the RNG flash KO
Crazy to me that not a single creator is talking about the fact you pay for the WBC edition fighters that have ZERO unique movesets AND THERE UNUSABLE ONLINE lmao.
Despite me covering the game for 2 years.. I refused to buy the WBC edition, and SCI have never liked me enough to send me a free copy. Basically I wasn't aware.
Really goes to show how far ahead fightnight round 4 and champion were when they came out. Ill still try this when the price drops i like a lot of what the developers were trying to do here
I think they're trying to make it too realistic which isn't the move when trying to make a game people will enjoy playing, every game whether it's a sports game or a shooting game, is a little unrealistic as far as what you're able to do. The hand speed and combination speed that most fighters in fight night champion have is much faster than actual boxers in real life, but being able to throw fast combination and counters makes the game more fun. Not a bad boxing game but not worth the price I paid.
I love playing the chess game that boxing is. This game has that aspect. But something is off about it. I'm still not happy with it fully. I still play FN Champion as well. Definitely not worth what it's worth.
Spot on as always, but I must say, I'm having fun strategizing against the power cheesers. I'm starting to time everything with counters. If only I could see their face when they realize the power spam is not enough anymore.
Facts. Especially when addressing the issues of stamina. I used Crawford vs Leonard, not only was the tracking for the jab, cross mechanics off, the AI choosing to add additional punches I didn't want to throw, after 12 rounds Leonard's stamina was still at 96 percent 😆MADNESS ‼️
There's a whole 3 year backstory to this game, let's just say they're not your traditional indie company. Indie companies don't hire a marketing team to scout for UA-camrs to join their partnership program.
Yes the animations are wonky. Yes it need work. But man I’ve still been enjoying the hell out of career mode. They got a good base here. Fighting does take mechanic, and spamming will not work. Also I love how the ranking works in career mode. A 70 over fighter who is ranked #40 and a 70 overall ranked #20 play completely differently. But man the animations need work. You can’t clean knock someone out, no matter what they get on their knees and do the fall over thing. 6/10 for me. Like I said good base, but needs a lot of work
@@xsorakazamax7522 like I said it needs work. Just because I like it dosent mean you have to. But carry on. Also yes you do get tired lmao. You have no idea what you’re talking about. Or you haven’t played it recently
I hate the fact the every time you knock out an opponent after they get up the AI does this weird roll over and it’s like it every time before they get up
I have good fun out boxing the power spammers with a nice jab and footwork! But needs alot of work I won't lie, jabs are very useful online though! I used it all the time! My main weapon!
@@ClaimerUncut yeah 100% I really have to pick my shots, one annoying thing they do is spam power jab which makes your character wobble around then they unload on you, I try to time my opponents power shots with a stepping jab either to the body or the head but only can do it after their punch or like you said it completely stops you! The main problem is people quitting when getting their ass beat and you lose ranking points plus they don't get a loss
I agree with both of u. I can still outwit cheesers while still remaining true to the sport to some degree. I can also tie in combos while playing their game with power punches. I do agree also tht power punches will take u out of animations of more so than not. And ppl can literally spam power punches the whole fight. My literal first fight in ranked, someone used Julio Chavez and did the SAME "right power hook body, left power hook head" the WHOOOOLLLE fight. Did not switch it up not even once. And me thinking like an actual boxer thinking i could jab or stike before he unloads and it never phased him the whole fight. I found a way a round but i done been knocked down too much at tht point to win. Tht was the first and last time someone just spammed punched me like tht ever again. If u come in being a true boxer, i don't mind keeping it on tht. But soon as u show me u are a cheeser, i will do my game n play your game at the same time n get u up outta here right quick.
Plus i don't like how i can bring Floyd Patterson whose a 88 and get matched up with an 93 Ali cause Thts what most ppl been using the whole time on ranked in heavy weight for me. Especially with the bugs they have where strategy doesn't really play a factor as much as overpowered animations. If they ain't gone fix tht, atleast match me up with someone no more than 2 points of my rating. Kinda just forces me to use high rated boxers in heavy weight or just stay way from tht weight in general.
I've been playing Undisputed sincwe last year in early access. I watched it come along with many improvements. Missing a great boxing game for at least 11 years it was great to be able to box again. Yesterday I had fight between my career boxer and Larry Holmes. They announced Larry Holmes as Adeleye. also I change my boxers gear and it was not correct according to the change. While I think it's still a great game, it still has room for a lot of improvements. We are not even talking about the mechanics. There are other games on the horizon. I look forward to trying them all.
Recently I've been playing Fight Night Champion on PC through emulation software. The key benefit being you can play in 4K but also at 60 fps, and honestly.. it feels like a new game. As for Undisputed, they've received investments of 20 Million plus, and instead of hiring Senior Developers, they have a team of sales, marketing, and even content creators. They even brought in the commentators for a second take, and it sounds just as bad as early access. The potential is there, but at $70 and many disgruntled customers, I'd consider it a scam until proven otherwise.
I'm sick of getting a knockout out then just before u get the win they back out. Your then instantly put on the frozen loading screen so u have to reset your console so u don't get the win and lose sp in the process. This has stopped me playing on it.
Man this games been on full release for a whole 2 days, give them time, it’s the first boxing game we’ve had in years, obviously it’s going to struggle to compete with ea but at least they have given us boxing game before they could, I’m sure updates will come with gameplay etc and roster will increase as time goes on but let’s be patient with a in demand game that we wasn’t being given till now .
They're not just rotten, they're evil. They made sure us small people fell for their marketing, pre-ordered it, and once we loaded up and saw it was garbage, we could no longer refund the game.
I think the game can be saved and set up for long-term success very easily. Here’s what needs to happen IMO after playing a ton since launch: * Normal shots should do a little bit more damage * Missed power shots should deplete max stamina quite a bit more, and that should get worse if you are throwing many in quick succession (make sure landed power shots really hurt though as they should) * Players who quit online need to get an L on their record and a 3 strike warning/penalty. Winner should get the W. * Fix the weird and wonky targeting issues that sometimes happen * Fix hit detection issues where shots register despite glove not physically connecting with face/body * After an online match make it go back to the online menu, not main menu * Fix being able to throw after the bell Do all the above and the game will be WAY better for it (at least for online play, single player is a whole other problem of it being a snooze fest) but I do think there is a great base there after the above is done to build upon over time with events/challenges, new boxers being added etc.
Is Pryoxis really the eSports champ? I can't find anything online backing up his claim. And in one video his record was 27-13 but he said he gets losses when people back out. Surely the servers aren't that bad right?
I hear ya.. From my perspective I take Pry with a grain of salt. This is his full time job, so I get why he does what he does.. However I can't blame others for getting frustrated. If you don't class yourself as the best player.. You'll likely get half the viewership.
@@ClaimerUncut I disagree, i think a lot of people want to watch someone based on their character whether they are entertaining to watch. It can be more relatable to watch someone closer to average. But of course people will still always want to watch the best. Nobody should be lying trying to manipulate viewers, they will just end up exposing themselves.
I agree with you. I have a history with Pry where at this stage.. I've scrutinised him so much, I'd rather not comment negatively on his every move. for context, he's put himself in a situation where he depends on YT to feed his family, maybe he feels uneasy with certain statements he makes to get attention to certain videos.. However from my standpoint (not yours) It's a can of worms when families involved, and I doubt he's making life changing money. From a moral standpoint I agree with you though.
When you claim to be an authentic boxing simulation and has no referee in the ring while the fighters are fighting, it makes me not trust you 🤷🏾♂️ being that I box in real life, and knowing how big of a part referees play in the sport this definitely breaks the immersion, I just hate other people get upset when people like me voice, my opinion about me, wanting the referee in the game and yes, I’m aware it doesn’t make or break the game, but if we’re gonna have this game for years to come, I would at least love to be merged in it, they are the ones who promised an authentic boxing game you can’t without a referee or clenching 💁🏽♂️
All the waiting until the official release and I was disappointed in the outcome. My main issue with it is the stamina and it's an easy fix all they have to do is slow down the punches as your stamina is depleting. The way they have it now is that even when you don't have any stamina at all you still punch at full speed but your stamina bar goes down and the ghost punching getting hit when you are nowhere near your opponent is annoying. The endless power punching with no consequences. I bought it when it in early access for 30$ and as it stands now I feel like I over paid but I feel bad for those that paid 60$ for it and this is what they got ouch.
Gameplay is one thing but presentation is another. How do you not show case any of the BELTS? Its boxing most prestigious accolade correct? Not in ring walks, not in the in-ring announcements, not in celebrations when you win or defend your titles. Hell in there " in depth career mode " it's visually not there either, there's no fight build up, theres no visual interviews via podcasts, arena one on ones, nothing. The game download was 16G, right there i knew it was a problem. No referee during gameplay, no mini game when round ends, i mean.. man 🤦🏾. I wasn't looking for another FN, it had its time, I was looking for the future of Boxing video game. This isn't it.
I played FNC and I am a fan of boxing. I pre-orderd the game, played it today for the first time and I have to say I appreciate that there is a boxing game for PS5 that we can play. I don't regret the purchase...BUT it does not feel as good as FNC, it feels odd like explained in this video. But I hope they update it and keep on improving the mechanics and add Boxers like Foreman and Holyfield
I’m getting the game forget what negative things people have to say. I don’t have a ps3 anymore to play fight night game and I don’t have a Xbox to play fight night online
I’m a boxing fan and I had fun on this game I love fight night too but it’s like comparing nba Jam to nba 2K with undisputed being 2K the old fight night games were too easy especially Champion
It definitely needs a lot of work but I like it. I give it a 7/10 since it’s basically the rookie game. It’s very fun….and you can actually through a series of punches.
I had five quick bouts on the second difficulty level, there's four btw, it needs work alright but I had fun and was improving with each bout, hopefully they can tweak a few things via updates and it gets better
Hey thanks Blinkzone, sadly i feel like this past year we failed.. but atleast I've saved perhaps 200 people judging from my comments, wasting their money on a broken game.
@@ClaimerUncut I have not purchased the game yet. Also, even when the game was being developed (seems like 2000 yeara ago) the trailers didn't make go and say "Oh wow". The last game trailer that made say oh wow was GTA 6
I knew it!! Its the same cash grab from the 1st release of early access. Make a bunch of issues and promise to fix them later. Just release new venues and dlc boxers instead. This will get more people to purchase the game. 😂😂 Dear lord. Just when i thought the game was getting better, i go online matching and WHAT DO YA FKN KNOW!?!?!? THE SPAMMING IS MUCH WORSE THAN BEFORE THE OFFICIAL VERSION DROPPED! Maybe you should start crowd funding to make a real boxing game. I think all of the community can do it.
I have actually thought about that, creating a game. a few months ago I made a good start on a scrolling beat'em up, so I may dabble in seeing what I can do with 2 fighters and a ring.
@@ClaimerUncut start small and go big.. Go for it, homie. I'm not sure what amount would be the goal for such a big project, but you have my support 💪🏾
@@ClaimerUncut theres a great game called "half sword" that has an incredible physics model in ue5 I am dreaming of a boxing game with that physics.ofc with different controls since they have very goofy controls. but I feel like you can break each individual rib and the physics will simulate it. I'm going to ignore this scam I left my review on steam
I think they should make it like UFC you have the choice to simulate career mode my honest opinion I used to hate the little mini games so to me that's a plus but for other people they should have put an option to where you can choose to do it or simulate it
Movment feels like swimming in oil. Regular punches do nothing. Power punches not costing stamina. Entrance Animations look ugly. "Riyadh Season" everywhere. That minigame sucks. Best part is only the roster, and even that lacks. I don't understand the glazing in youtube tbh...
I'll wait for it to go on sale either black Fri or Christmas since they feel the update is good enough to wait till December and the excuse of the oh their a new company etc. This isn't a phone game or low budget steam game and expect more for $80 🤷♂️
People complaining that the game is unfinished are the same people that were complaining about why it was taking so long and that they should drop the game
Honestly I had my issues with the game day one or two but there’s elements to the gameplay that definitely feel authentic, if you buy into the quick flick head movements and ring dictation you start to play within the vision they had and it makes sense. That being said yes there’s a bunch of balancing and fine tuning that needs to be done but that was kinda expected this is their first ever major release, the game will be amazing in a few months
It's not worth buying, there that's all you need to know. Trust me I've got 400hours in the early access and I've played the 'full' release of this game. Its not better than its earliest portion of its early access that's all you need to know.
But why do you say to not play it when you have played 400 hours yourself. Its a fun game and punches are better than early access but yes onoine is bad and its got loads of flaws but its still a good game that deserves criticism
Something you've put 400 hours into, paid what €20, is not worth your time? You do realise how ridiculous that sounds? You definitely got your moneys worth, you must've enjoyed it if you put that much time into the game. 😂😂
Exactly. I thought I was going crazy but I geniunely remember it being better during early early access before they completely fucked it up. Its better than it was a couple weeks ago but its not better than what I remember it being 3 years ago
The game is good if you are a boxing fan. They are not a big developer like EA so don’t expect what fight night would offer but for bare bones boxing, it’s good
The game is pretty decent for their first title, but you are absolutely right about career mode. It gets so boring, if they want to keep folks engaged, they’ll need to make it more immersive, like allow players to do the training, allow for players to move up and down in weight. Also the AIs need to be patched, the stamina is a problem, but the damage they deal and receive is so annoying.
I think your take on the game is pretty accurate. I think the change to make combinations more fluid was needed but the stun locks can be a bit much. Overall I like most of the additions and changes they've made, they just need to fine tune it. Bump up the power of regular punches, increase stamina loss for power punches and reduce their accuracy. Also tweak the accuracy of punches like you mentioned. I'd also would like to see slipping and head movement matter more, evading and rolling with punches shouldn't be as difficult as it is. Right now it seems stiff and an unreliable way to defend

It gets better the more you play it ...i didn't like it at first but i just create unique fighters in different weight classes and create my own boxing cards... only reason this game is not total trash is because the game play is decent but definitely not worth the money they charged
I just hope this makes EA come out with another fight now I still play fight night round 2 on original Xbox just because it was dope back then an is still dope today.
I play offline and i do like the gameplay... stamina, hit detection and some minor tweaks i hope come with patches in time iron these things out. Adding more customisation, robes etc and more content like newer fighters for licensing I'm sure will imporove with updates.. Fingers crossed they take these issues into account as i have hope for this game that can be improved

Yes. Definitely worth buying if you enjoy boxing
No
@InterMiamiGoat That's fair, unfortunately though these companies profit off the underclass.
@InterMiamiGoat I bought the Deluxe edition and regretted it after a few hours of gameplay and realising how broken the game is but fortunately months down the line updates will be added and maybe it will be more worth playing
@@ClaimerUncutBIG FACTS, ONLY THE UNDERCLASS NEED TO ESCAPE THEIR CURRENT REALITY, I FELT THAT BRO.
the fact that u got ppl in the comments defending this game is the reason why devs (gaming companies) all across the gaming eco release trash buggy unfinished games.
If a game continues to sell, from a companies perspective there's nothing to fix. But hey.. Sheep are gonna be sheep.
Exactly and that’s why games like 2K get to release trash every year and not be held accountable. The devs need feedback to make the game better.
@@ClaimerUncutit’s a double edge sword because if we don’t support people may never try to make a good game
@@Dman4901 no they should try to make a good game regardless. It shouldn't be conditional.
Your first sentence sums up the big issue. They know the game is broken and unfinished, and manipulating the audience with CGI trailers
100% true needs a big update to change all of this.
That’s what I said it feels unfinished. But it’s fun.
I'll wait till it drops to $20

Refreshingly tactical. I can create a career and stick leather on specific sides on my opponents face until it’s completely swollen shut, and pouring blood causing the ref to award me the fight 12 fights in a row! What a fun time!
The fight mechanics could use some retooling as well as fashion, and in game music / commentary. There is a module on the home screen notifying upcoming content and offers (likely monitizations).

U won but at what cost 😭
Man this games been on full release for a whole 2 days, give them time, it’s the first boxing game we’ve had in years, obviously it’s going to struggle to compete with ea but at least they have given us boxing game before they could, I’m sure updates will come with gameplay etc and roster will increase as time goes on but let’s be patient with a in demand game that we wasn’t being given till now .
They're not just rotten, they're evil. They made sure us small people fell for their marketing, pre-ordered it, and once we loaded up and saw it was garbage, we could no longer refund the game.
why would you pre order it?
Shutup
I think the game can be saved and set up for long-term success very easily. Here’s what needs to happen IMO after playing a ton since launch:
* Normal shots should do a little bit more damage
* Missed power shots should deplete max stamina quite a bit more, and that should get worse if you are throwing many in quick succession (make sure landed power shots really hurt though as they should)
* Players who quit online need to get an L on their record and a 3 strike warning/penalty. Winner should get the W.
* Fix the weird and wonky targeting issues that sometimes happen
* Fix hit detection issues where shots register despite glove not physically connecting with face/body
* After an online match make it go back to the online menu, not main menu
* Fix being able to throw after the bell
Do all the above and the game will be WAY better for it (at least for online play, single player is a whole other problem of it being a snooze fest) but I do think there is a great base there after the above is done to build upon over time with events/challenges, new boxers being added etc.
Everyone complaining like they did with UFC 5 because they just don't know how to fight and make moves look good.
Give it some time this game will be phenomenal it’s missing a few things that are obvious so they should be fixed with a few updates
Boxing fanatico will need a therapy session after this review. 😅😅😅😅😅😅
Is Pryoxis really the eSports champ?
I can't find anything online backing up his claim. And in one video his record was 27-13 but he said he gets losses when people back out.
Surely the servers aren't that bad right?
I have no idea, he's a decent player so perhaps he's entered an 8 man tournament or something and come out on top.
@@ClaimerUncut seems like he's full of shit because we would know who he is if so.
🎉
Who cares about the ref
@@mikekillagreen9432Real boxing fans obviously

They do include the belts in your walkout
I played FNC and I am a fan of boxing. I pre-orderd the game, played it today for the first time and I have to say I appreciate that there is a boxing game for PS5 that we can play. I don't regret the purchase...BUT it does not feel as good as FNC, it feels odd like explained in this video. But I hope they update it and keep on improving the mechanics and add Boxers like Foreman and Holyfield
I’m getting the game forget what negative things people have to say. I don’t have a ps3 anymore to play fight night game and I don’t have a Xbox to play fight night online
So get an Xbox
I got and love it it's gamers vs boxing fans the gamers hate it boxing fans love it
I’m a boxing fan and I had fun on this game I love fight night too but it’s like comparing nba Jam to nba 2K with undisputed being 2K the old fight night games were too easy especially Champion
@@FAMFRISTDETROITMONEY delusional mate, real boxers know this is ass.
have fun wasting money
It definitely needs a lot of work but I like it. I give it a 7/10 since it’s basically the rookie game. It’s very fun….and you can actually through a series of punches.
EA could have just given us fight night champion with no licensed boxers 😢
no
No one would buy that
I said the same thing but people tale their idolatry to everything. Playing as an actual person means shit for gaming. We just need the mechanics
I had five quick bouts on the second difficulty level, there's four btw, it needs work alright but I had fun and was improving with each bout, hopefully they can tweak a few things via updates and it gets better
Bro thank you for saving me quite a bit of money
Fr I was gonna drop that 70
Love your content Claimer. You're simply the best. Much love all the way from Canada
@hmp01 Yeah that's a great game, and it's physics based. Are you aware of Overhand Interactives Boxing / Kickboxing game?
@@ClaimerUncut well, now I have, that latest video from overhand looks INCREDIBLE
Nailed it
My guy Claimer not holding back 💪
I honestly forgot about this game's release this month. I'm glad that you put clips of that fraud Boxing Fanatico.
Regarding Boxing Fanatico, I think it's always fair to lead with receipts as opposed to assumptions. Truth hits harder
@@ClaimerUncut No doubt about it. The guy has been shilling for esbc and crying on camera for years. I have no respect for him.
I'll wait for it to go on sale either black Fri or Christmas since they feel the update is good enough to wait till December and the excuse of the oh their a new company etc. This isn't a phone game or low budget steam game and expect more for $80 🤷♂️
Good plan, by then they'll have their next update out. And ya never know.. They may have fixed key issues
People complaining that the game is unfinished are the same people that were complaining about why it was taking so long and that they should drop the game
The game looks horrible. It reminds me of Real Boxing which was an android game.
not really but go off lmao. consume more
Honestly I had my issues with the game day one or two but there’s elements to the gameplay that definitely feel authentic, if you buy into the quick flick head movements and ring dictation you start to play within the vision they had and it makes sense.
Agreed, which is why they need to move fast with an update, if they want to keep the player base alive.
Cap
The game is good if you are a boxing fan. They are not a big developer like EA so don’t expect what fight night would offer but for bare bones boxing, it’s good
it's absolute trash. Early access was better than this piece of shit full release version. How did it get worse? 😂
Is it better than ufc5
Both suck just get old ufc undisputed and whatever ea fight nights u want and problem solved lol
I'm having a blast yes it will need future updates that will make the game even better if you know boxing and know how to play Boxing Games this Game is fun🔥🥊
Cheers for the detailed review, mate. Seems like a wait for sale.
I’ll wait!!!! Thanx for the info man….
Best boxing game ever by far
That's how I feel idk what these kids complain about
Aah you guys.. We can't act like the issues I objectively highlighted don't exist.
@@ClaimerUncut There's nothing you can say to these guys. You showed ghost punches landing and they still say " It's the best game of all time" "You just hatin" "Y'all complain about everything" They will desperately defend this slop no matter what.
Might be shit online but I don't play any game online, not bothered about it.
so sad seeing people having no standards. I don't play online to, I played career mode for 30 minutes before getting bored. please open your eyes, stop being delusional
Can you move up weight classes in career now or not?
Nah you can't sadly
@@ClaimerUncut thank you , I’ll just stick with the beta version. May not ever go console unless they add that
Game is ass
Hard to disagree
If your ass at the game then say that😂
@@ClaimerUncut EA gonna fire back and shit on these guys.
@@J_Smoove_Gaming id prob smoke you tbh
It gets better the more you play it ...i didn't like it at first but i just create unique fighters in different weight classes and create my own boxing cards... only reason this game is not total trash is because the game play is decent but definitely not worth the money they charged
I just hope this makes EA come out with another fight now I still play fight night round 2 on original Xbox just because it was dope back then an is still dope today.
Definitely worth $80 unless you're struggling financially... best boxing game by far
😂😂😂your clearly a bot
I play offline and i do like the gameplay... stamina, hit detection and some minor tweaks i hope come with patches in time iron these things out.
Adding more customisation, robes etc and more content like newer fighters for licensing I'm sure will imporove with updates..
Fingers crossed they take these issues into account as i have hope for this game that can be improved
