Hey Pardons, yeah I fully understand it wasn't for everyone but for whatever reason the storyode, structure of those fights, and the ridiculous difficulty of Isaac Frost, (and to actually defeat him..) The "trauma" always stuck with me. probably why I conflate it's "greatness"

An actual story behind a fighter instead of “make fighter, then go fight”. After finishing Champion mode, you didn’t even need the legacy mode. It was that fulfilling. So I get it for sure.
@@NoPardons Well said, I actually started to lose interest in the series after Round 3, since I caught the tail end of the Knockout Kings series. I was looking for the "thrill of the journey" to become Champ, and the "trauma" you go through trying to beat Frost, whilst some of my friends didn't even touch the Champion mode, is why I had to show it some love from my own perspective.

just like UFC Undisputed 3, 12 years later and still unmatched in the MMA games market. theres an active mod being made for UFCUD3, which adds current fighters, makes it 1000x better than that clunky copy paste g rbage called UFC 5
Long time Bro 🙏Exactly, UFC 5 is so easy to market now they have content creators promoting them around the clock. Games like UFC Undisputed 3 and Champion simply missed out on that boat. I did try the UFC Forever mod, I'm just not a fan of replacing legends in the game, a shame that can't add as opposed to replace.
I personally dont understand the love for this game's Champion Mode. They pretty threw every boxing movie cliche into one, on top of that the story was too short. Not saying I didn't enjoy it, I played thousands of hours of FNC, it was my favorite game for several years and it is the sole reason i love boxing in the first place. I didn't find myself cheering for Andre until he beat Isaac Frost. I suppose he doesn't fit my criteria of what makes a good fighter character. Outside of boxing he has a dull personality and not a big fan of his style. He's a cliche humble sports hero who has little to no true personality flaws.
If undisputed wasn't getting soo much reaction EA wouldn't be scrambling to make a new fight night let's hope they don't copy and paste it like UFC4/5 and FIFA 😂
I'm not sure it's getting much of a positive reaction, they're pushing Pre purchases at the mo.. But the live build of Undisputed is pretty much on life support
I prefer Fight Night Rd 4, but I agree Fight Night Champion brought a new dimension to fighting games. The script is so solid, as well as the acting. I think because they put in so much effort but it didn't sell well, UFC was the easier product to milk, since the sport was booming and they could sell copies when big events happen.
TBH I was a Fight night round 3 player, skipped Rd 4, and became hooked with Champion, so there might be something to it. (although i have played the emulated version recently, and I felt Champion was better)
Well to be fair, it’s not exactly hard to be the greatest boxing game in existence when you have damn near zero competition. The single player AI is an absolute joke, even on GOAT difficulty with the sliders cranked all the way up. It gets boring REALLY quickly. And do I really need to explain just how broken and toxic the online is?
Honestly, I played Champion on release and enjoyed the Story mode. However, I abandoned the career and CPU vs. mode and mainly focused on playing competitively with friends rather than online. Playing with friends, we had rules to prevent cheesing, but online play when you're anonymous, you do as you please, so I understand why some people had a bad experience.

Stop abruptly leaving us 🤬
I know man.. The combat gaming scene is pretty bad. I'll do my best effort to start covering the current states of these games for sure 🍻
just like UFC Undisputed 3, 12 years later and still unmatched in the MMA games market. theres an active mod being made for UFCUD3, which adds current fighters, makes it 1000x better than that clunky copy paste g rbage called UFC 5
This was dope but the story is only better than round 4 but i love you like a play cousin
Just look at the animations its miles better than some of the shit in undisputed when was this made 13 years ago or something like that
I personally dont understand the love for this game's Champion Mode.
(although i have played the emulated version recently, and I felt Champion was better)
fnr4 was so hard to play beacuse stick control so frustrating
Because it's one of the only ones?
INCREDIBLE I’m subscribing right now 👊🏽🥷
Thanks Closbeats, this was my favourite vid to make so far.. Glad you. Somehow found it
