    I tried to scuba dive in Costa Rica. We did our little training in a pool. Once they tossed us in the ocean, I started having a panic attack, just knowing my tank was going to run out of oxygen or something crazy. So, my head barely got under and I decided to hang out on the boat instead. You got great under water shots!

    That was so dang cool, you get to do the most awesome stuff! I'm happy that you conquered the free dive, I couldn't do that, and the next day you were doing it even deeper and enjoying yourself so much! I'm jealous that you swam with manatees. Enjoy your family and I wish you, Dylan, and your families a Merry Christmas!

    What a very cool experience! I'm sure I probably would have the same problem with the ears if I were to go underwater that deep. I'm glad they give you techniques on how to combat those problems. The adventure on the boat looked like so much fun too! I really enjoyed this one Crosby!

    We took our 3 kids to Eden this year + loved it! My fav cenote so far. So fun to swim to little caves with my kids and snorkel + see so much wildlife. And jumping off the cliff was fun too.

    Great area of Mexico to hang out and dive! I went cave diving at Dos Ojos and The Pit last time with Akumal Dive Shop. I had trouble equalizing as a beginner too! The trick for me is to descend vertically and stretch my neck (eustachian tubes) to the sides while keeping back pressure. Then they equalize. Below 33ft I’m good, it’s just that initial first atmosphere where I sometimes have trouble. Learn scuba someday Crosby Grace! Exploring for hours underwater is magic! Come up to Alaska one summer! Explore the southern coast and up to Denali by air and sea! No other landscapes compare!

    I have just subscribed to your channel. It is a very informative and fun channel. Can you make a video in the future about UFO's in Mexico? Don't know if you have come across this subject while living in Mexico, but I know for a fact that this topic is very prevalent there!

    Hey dude next time you're in Mexico city I can take you on a tour of Ecatepec (the most dangerous place in the mexican plateau) and the northern parts of the city (Lindavista, Martin carrera, etc) just be ready to see poverty and sadness lmao.

    Awesome, but why did you use wetsuits? you are in the jungle, is hot, the water is little cold but not so freezing.

    • @CrosbyGraceTravels
      @CrosbyGraceTravels  Рік тому +3

      Our free diving instructors told us to because even though the first one wasn't too cold, we were in the water for 3 hours and eventually your body will get super cold. The second cenote was VERY cold and we were shivering even with wet suits on!

      Freediving is all about slowing your heart rate and moving as little as possible, which cools your body as well. Even in warm water, you sometimes still need a wetsuit because of this especially if the session is long.
