Tobi *WILL NOT* slow down, and The statue's lasers wont slow down either. *You can also ram into the statues to make them temporarily stop firing the lasers*. I realize this is a bit late, but still, its good for you to know.

Recovery springs appear in several locations, one of them being Madame Bone's hut. What makes them redundant is they often appear next to an Origin Mirror, which does the SAME thing aside from saving your game.
Tobi, one of the best NPCs in the game. Also, the warning at the beginning of the "Labrynith of Torment" is trying to hint at Power Slashing the statues. They stop firing their lasers for a moment if you do. Makes that area SO much easier.
In case someone wants to know, you're supposed to power slash the laser statues as that will temporarily stun them. Using most does absolutely nothing on them.

Mist DOES work on the Tobi races, and unless you're godlike skilled, is required to succeed at the final race, since Tobi keeps moving during the required battle. I don't know about the other races, but the Tobi races are designed around using Mist.
Chugga, just remember that in order to get a 100% completion in this game you need to obtain the secret brush technique 'Deluge', but you can only obtain it once you kill the boss of oni island (i know everyone knows who it is, but i don't want to spoil the true name)

After seeing that lockjaw in the previous video I remember you saying that opening their doors is the most violent door opening you've ever seen (or something like that). Try Darksiders for PS3/Xbox360. You stab the key in their eye, put your fist in as well, and turn it while blood gushes out. Yay for violence
You can actually survive once the floor falls away by running to the edge where it meets the door and glitching it a bit by keeping to the sides. Takes time to get back (the floor reappears), but saves health if you're low.
Forget studying for my Trig test that I have early in the morning and the fact that it is one am at the time of me watching this. Chuggaaconroy takes precedent over all school work.

Actually, you can use cherrybomb/powrslash to your advantage: Cherry bomb makes the 'geist break apart and use wind, so you can bring up a reflector to kill it off. Power slash changes the element it's using in a cycle consisting of fire, electric and ice. So you can change it to the fire form and use wind.

Really old vid, but you know how it is when you just gotta share something. The lasers are really easy to cheese if you stay along the walls and double jump over the spikes that pop up, power slash the statues when you need to cross. The room is much easier to circumvent than taking the narrow paths in the middle.
1: Mists of Time doesn't help for things like this. At all. 2: It's possible to 'glitch' the drop-away floor. If you position yourself right, you can stand on the closed gate. The floor will close again and you can just walk back, avoiding the loss of health from the fall. And on the slippery stair, you can repeatedly double jump-dash and achieve the same thing.

after the Yoshi's Wooley World let's play, the fact they rearrange the obstacles in these races after you die too many times made me think of the Mellow Mode prompt- "by the way, do you know that you suck?" lol
on blue cyclops u can blow out it's pipe then relight with fire and it will sit still for a few seconds giving free shots at it plus relighting it's pipe will also counter it's super mode, though i dont know if u can relight it WHILE its in super mode
Maybe Rao doesn't have good security because she figured the barrier would keep everything out. That would explain the automatic doors and paper guard.
When you're doing that second race with the platforms, you don't want to dash the whole way or you'll fall off too many times. I was doing that race and I kept falling because i was going too fast so i tried not dashing and i got through it just fine.

He probally did try to upload episode 53 before he left on Thursday, but the upload must have failed, and he did not have enough time to try again. You can actually push the "+" button at the end of the battle to make the results screen disappear more quickly.

Unfortunately, time doesn't seem to slow down for the Tobi races... he starts out relatively slow, and I swear he just gets progressively faster.
I'm pretty sure Mist doesn't slow Tobi down at all, although it does effect the obstacles.

Oni island was by far my favorite part of this game. It just felt so epic.

When I was playing this game, Mist worked like a charm in these races and without I would've lost.
if the cyclops vibrates into the berserk mode, doing inferno on its pipe and relighting it makes it not transform.
